- Top Virtual World deck I used to win 1st place at a local Win-a-Box tournament in my region. Best build for Virtual world right now, top way to play for turns 1/2/3 and combo.
Combo video coming later, I would love to hear thoughts on the Tzolkin engine and hand trap choices :D

Update: Took the deck today (Sunday) to a different locals and went undefeated, cashed in my store credit from winning to get a playset of Nibiru so now I'm testing 2x Nib in the main deck over 2x DRNM (now in side)
Why no tzolkin package cause I run it in my list tho I only make it going first
@@grayhunter7945 i'm glad you asked because this is something i'm still debating. I used to run Crystal wing + m7 + caliga + chuche combo ending with only 2 cards in hand. It auto-loses to DRNM/Droplet/LS etc. because of weak follow-up resources IME. i do think it is strong going 1st game 1 but games 2 + 3 loses to side deck.
I wouldn't underestimate the strength of M7 + Croc + Shen + Chuche with 4/5 cards in hand. If Tzolkin Combo wins 90% of games G1, this board would win 85%. shen comes back next turn and you break their board
A major strength of the Tzolkin package is blocking Nib imo so right now im trying to make shen earlier in the combo to secure a follow-up if hit by nibiru. definitely feelsbad when hit by nibiru.
Are you going caliga or dragoon? I haven't tested the dragoon variant and would be interested to hear how it does
@@thymethief I am going with Caliga for now but in a lot of games I rather summon shenshen with crystal wing than caliga cause if I get drnm I barely have a follow up for next turn and unless you drew amazing you can't consistently summon shenshen with caliga. A lot of meta decks now are maining droplet or drnm so imo summoning shenshen should be a priority always.

Maybe show next (with EdoPro) Shaddoll with Invoked and/or Dogmatika combos? This deck is a hard one to understand, too, imo.
Tbh I think the Tzoklin engine is a must right now. Nearly every deck is main decking/siding in game 2 nib. Also allows sorta soft locks with Crystal + Caliga, aswell giving you access to Dragoon or BB Fusion
Also curious if you have experimented with Hand loop VW
Tzolkin is for sure nice if you open 3 VW names and are going 1st game 1. I've been debating cutting Crystron + siding Nothung to make room for Tzolkin + Crystal wing for 3 VW hands. The only thing I don't like about it is Tzolkin feels like such a waste of space on the field when you don't have a 2nd target or dragoon/Caliga. LOL.
What do you think I could cut from the ED to make room for Tzolkin + Crystal Wing + mudragon + Goon or Caliga?
BB fusion is phenomenal too I would 100% side that if I played tzolkin. Have you tried using Hot Red Abyss (level 9 sync) with mudragon? I think it can be a strong addition if you're already running the tzolkin/mudragon/etc. combo

Hey, so if I were to want to play the Tzolkin Engine in your deck, I would drop the
Nothung - I don’t know how often your matches get to time, but mine hardly ever do so I never play it
Crystron - Seems like a win more card plus VW’s ED already has a ton of removal
PK Break sword - same reason as before
Downerd Magican - Although a 2 pop Zeus is nice, I feel there are better cards to do it off so
Then last card is up to you if you wanna main deck Dragoon and caliga, or just one of the too. Generally I will play both Dragoon and Caliga G1 for die roll, if I win I end on Dragoon, Crystal, and Chuche. Else if im going second and you wanna play this engine out, you will end on crystal, caliga, and chuche to stop your opponent from playing, and obviously side accordingly for G2 the BB fusion. But this engine definitely shines better going 1st as you end on 2 negates, 1 pop from chuche.
I haven't tried hot red dragon archfiend abyss, but I would assume the reason its not played in VW is that Crystal Wing Hits Nib and it dosen't. But if you are not playing the Tzolkin engine, it does look like a very strong option for level 9.

Hey man, you got any tips for the shadoll or dinos match ups? Like good first turn boards, or best going second plays?
Good question these matchups are common so hopefully i can help you win them bc they are definitely consistently winable for VW.
Dino - always negate Misc graveyard effect if you can. Shenshen shreds dino so get that card out then disrupt dino's normal summon and the game should be won. going 2nd against dino can be rough because dolkka is tough unless you're able to get to qinglong (kowloon -> qinglong unironically good when going 2nd vs dino). Otherwise try to stop dolkka from hitting the board when going 2nd also baiting their interruptions then going for zeus play is really strong.
Shaddoll - if you open gamma going 2nd you win by baiting mechaba on a hand VW effect then dropping the gamma to pop mechaba (dont use gamma on their turn, hold it as an extender for during your turn).
Qinglong is really good against winda, when your going 1st you dont really care what the shaddoll player does during turn 2 except for stopping verte anaconda effect and shaddoll fusion (use chuche on verte or your shenshen so they have to res shaddoll fusion without sending from deck. chuche chained to invocation can also be good if you have shenshen up) hope this helps some also siding in MST/twin/cosmic against shaddoll is game winning when chained to schism

Also why not play dragoon or caliga with the mud dragon?
At that time Shen + chuche was enough to win (caliga overkill bc shen is a great card generically against the meta at the time) to where it is more important to have diversified card advantage so you dont get blown out by a DRNM/droplet/any 1 card
I actually just won another box tourny in new format (vid on my channel) where im using caliga now :3 I liked it alot and performed well
Toutou is worse ns going 1st but better going s+2nd cuz if they pop it, you can jjust revive it back by discarding something.
I agree Toutou is nice normal going second because Rank 6's + zeus are live (toutou + lili or jiji sending chuche) and super strong. In my old list I played 1x toutou and got burned a couple times trying to res it from grave XD (discard as cost, then opp negates eff for -1).
I do think Toutou will be a staple when Prairen, the Skylark dragon is released in Dawn of Majesty (been testing some really cool 2 card combos with Beatrice -> Mali -> Prairen -> Scythe/spell cancellor/T-king/etc.)

Nice deck honestly don't think tactics is as good as people think it is i tried it at 3 for the longest time and every time i drew it i would have preferred an extra ht or drnm up to you really but imo it's not that hot
I can relate honestly the more games I play with TTT the more I realize how often it is dead. I watched Shuping's recent coaching session and he had a good reasoning for playing only 1 TTT because it is a card you NEVER want to see more than 1x (and drawing into TTT from TTT hurts). It's a lock @1 for me just because draw power is soooo strong in VW (any monster = special summon extender)
where are the time thief’s at though
hehe my time thief list is pretty bad ngl im running a psychic-heavy build with lambda/redoer combo i know it's bad so i dont want to share it xD
@@thymethief i’m still trying to make them good aswell i’m using a small phantom knight engine and the end boards are super strong problem is the deck dies to a single ash most times and doesn’t have enough search power. If time thief’s got a field spell witch searched so something like that it would be insane
