When I was a kid in 91 we went from 2 1566 open stations for tillage to a 7140 mfd I was in heaven ..ac radio.. quiet..I spent every hour I could in there.. pulled a 28' disk ..I remember they brought out a 2470 case that we tried out first I'm glad they spent the extra dollars on a magnum

Ran a 9280. Always loved the cabs and the ride they had.
Worked at a case ih dealer in the early 90s. I thought the magnum tractors were the best in the field at the time

I'd never heard the Magnum engine called a "6TA-830" before. I'd always heard it called a CDC (or Cummins) 505 or 8.3L.
Why didn't they promote that in a month you can get this tractor in red.
