It depends what you’re trying to make. If it’s like an embossed effect like 3D water drops or swirls then a builder gel consistency could work. If it’s a more complicated shape or it’s a bigger 3D art (like a character or these clouds), it’s much much easier to use a 3D gel product! (Eg. Yogo 3D clay gel from Sweetie Nail Supply)

This is a sculpture gel from Aliexpress by the brand E&A. It’s not what I recommend/prefer to use for 3D anymore though. If you’re looking for a white 3D sculpture gel (that is high quality and way easier to use than this one), I’d get Yogo Milk Jam from Kiokonailsupply.com and you can use “DREAMY” for 10% off too~ 🥰❤️
