To do it MULTIPLE TIMES : Just after you get the 99,999 bells withdraw another 150 bells or what ever you want, save and quit... start up animal crossing again change the date back to 2013 save and quit.
And then start the whole thing again. So change the year on the ds to 2000 save, start up animal crossing change the day to year to 2000 go to the town hall and deposit your money save and quiet and you know the rest =3
The music was not copyrighted back then so when they put the music they thought it was okay but now it’s copyrighted
Apparently if you want to use this cheat, but don't have your favourite town mates to move away, you can use this cheat... Write a letter for the character you don't want to move away, DONT mail it, KEEP it in your inventory as supposedly they are unable to move away if you keep a letter in your inventory addressed to them. I have never tried this myself, as I don't want to pick all the weeds, but I have heard of players trying this!
When i saw u got a letter from sally i remembered doing the mom and new years trick and my all time favorite neighbor sally left. That was 3 years ago. I still cry about it today.

From playing i think its better to send out a few gifts like seashells to your neighbors and they give you other fruit then what your town has and you just plant them all over the place. then just sell sell sell every day and only skip a day at a time, get fruits, fossils, fish, gifts from friends, so on. I've paid off the house three tines already and ive only had the game for about a week, i skipped a year into the past to start because time travel to the past has less negatives, and i do about five days of fishing and fossil hunting and fruit picking in one day. That way i dont end up with so many nasty weeds
Dont skip ahead, you'll have to pick a lot of grass

I found out about the cheat when I said, "Hey, why don't I try to mail my friend?" I mailed him with 100 bells with a note in the bottle, since he was in another town. After that, I weeded up the weeds that spawned. (I already weeded my whole town, including clovers and dandelions) And after that I mailed my self a letter for fun. I added 100 bells, so I could pretend I got the note in the bottle instead of my friend. I got it, put the bells in my bank account.
this cheat was so helpful for me to pay off all the debts to tom nook thank you very much I have given this video a thumbs up!!

I HATE weeds! It takes weeks after to clean them up, I managed to. Anyway does this work on Lets Go To The City? I have them all except GameCube. I don't plan to get GameCube either (is it available anymore?). I used to use this cheat all the time!

Am I the only one that this cheat doesn't work with? I'm setting the date to 2000, putting in over 150 bells, saving (duh), changing the date to 2099 but I either don't get any letters or around three, none from the town hall.

this works! just to tell everyone it's only for the normal ds. after u do 2099 go to bank to get money and u really get 99,999! I paid off my mortgage with it! plus it doesn't have to be 50,000 bells I put in 33,000 and it worked I think u just have to put bells in and do 2099 it works! I'm changing it to 2000 again then sound it again!

If u want 10000 bells then say the year is 2012 than but it the next year 2013 on january/ 1/2013 u can do this as many times as u want just keep doing the next year
I remember doing this a loooong time ago multiple times and I really messed up my town! I deleted my childhood ACWW town a few years ago because I used to TT and I NEVER took care of the weeds 😂 (I was like 12 btw)
