the problem is not just finding these coins, the real problem is finding an honest place to sell them and get a fair price. I have relatives who work in construction and old demolitions, they have found really interesting coins, others have Hispanic businesses where they receive a lot of change and very rare coins are often found. but when you go to a supposed antiques house to value your relics they want to buy you for a pittance and you notice that they treat you without interest when you know you have something good in your hands.

Imo those aren't serious buyers. From what i seen most ppl just auction them, thats if you dont have a legit person to go to if not multiples. You wanna try and see what at least 3 different ppl say about it price wise. To get a correct gauge on what to sell it for. Thats from what i hear these guys say in the videos.

I have a 1942 nickel and a coin person near me looked at it for 2 seconds and was like " Nah, not worth what you think. " I never said what I thought it was worth or anything at all really. I just handed it to the lady and Boom, shut down so quick and so hard. Anyway I can send you a picture or something? Or should I just keep looking for someone reputable around me? My husband has collected for 30 years & has coins that are ultra rare.
      Nobody buys coins.
      Its money laundering.
He proved it recently by following a cent coin by the registry number.
It was first graded an Ms 62.
Throughout the years, that coin has sold multiple times and each time it had a higher grade.
It recently sold for just over $6000 with a grade of ms68+ red.
Coin collecting is a hobby & nothing more.
      Just spend the coins.
He has already started spending his after rare coin dealers blew him off.
They are only worth face value.
Read the other comments on this video asking where to sell them, they guy making the video has no clue.
