I still remember seeing Bobby doll playing the Pink Panther bass solo back in 1989 during the Open Up and Say Ahh tour. Back then he was wearing the cowboy hat and western boots with the long dark hair.

So much venom about his skill level. Firstly, I don't ever recall him claiming to be John Patitucci or Billy Sheehan. I've never once heard of him proclaiming to be some sort of virtuoso. He certainly knows how to play the money notes and put on a show. Last I checked that's job number one in this genre. And as far as the solo goes, this is Poison, not Dream Theater. Bet that pink panther theme sounds GREAT through a stadium sized PA system. Recognizable and fun to the 98% of fans that are not overly judgmental musicians.
Keep it up Bobby and crew. Great to see you out there playing for the fans.
The opening part of the solo he ‘s playing the bass line from the songs Blame It On You from LWTCDI, and Mr. Smiley from the Crack A Smile album.
I loved all the poison shows I went to....always had a blast, they never overcharged for tickets and id always meet lots of girls..cant beat that! Hell I'm not even good lookin and hooked up with tons of nice looking girls at poison shows lol....
He's my favorite band member!
Say what you want about, Bobby, but you could always hear his bass back in the 80's when in other bands they were drowned out by the guitar.

I was at the Stadium Tour in Las Vegas a few months ago and sadly his bass was not mixed loud enough to hear up in the suite. But he still sounded better than Vince Neil 🤘
