- CC Deville Guitar Solo & Fallen Angel, Poison, Hersheypark Stadium Hershey, PA; July 12th, 2022; The Stadium Tour with Def Leppard, Motley Crue, and Joan Jett
As long as Brett can stay healthy, Poison is def the star of this tour.
No doubt
Bret brings it every time. I know one day decades from now he will depart this life on stage and I think that would be what he would want
Nothing holds his enthusiasm down. Not his health nothing and I love him for it.
Best of the Stadium tour!! Outshined Motley Crue- Def Leppard. Joan Jett in Denver!!!
Poison should be the headliners, they are putting on amazing shows during this stadium tour.
CC has worked his tail off to become a really good guitar player. Works out and takes care of himself. The whole band is tight. Cudos to all of them.
Yes through The years Bruce has become pretty good
The only reason I went to the Arena Tour was to see CC.
For all that speed, he still can't put together a cohesive guitar solo. This is an improvement on his infamously-bad 1991 "Guitar Solo" from the live album but that's not much to shout about. Richie Kotzen on his worst day can still play circles around CC at his best.
Too bad he never made it to great, or even past lousy....mediocrity is a compliment...
@@TheTruth-pl3mkCC DeVille on his worst day is still better than Kirk hammett
Love the ode to Eddie Van Halen! Poison’s rockin this tour bigtime! So cool to see them simply get better with age 🤘
Eddie was most likely inspiration to many of these mid to late 80s bands.
Very tasteful with the red and white stripes on the screen.
Poison is a fun, feel good band which the world needs right now. Nothing wrong with a good time.
Agreed....grunge Killed rock....just made it grumpy and angry....Rock needs to be fun
Cc is great! Poison is killing this tour .... welcome home boys !
Yeah they are...just saw them in Cincinnati...blew motley and Leppard away! So fun!
Sober CC is doing all the heavy lifting and carrying the band.
Poison I've never cared for but make NO mistake about it they are absolutely on fire in 2022 and in my opinion this live showcase is Poison's best tour of all time
Great? Ok?
@@reggieboyle2328 you think he's not one of the best guitarist of all time?
2:35 - VAN HALEN FOREVER!! That's great that CC plays Eruption for every show; that's what it's all about, big rock in big stadiums!
Long live The King Eddie Van Halen 🎸🎸🎸
And Randy Rhoads licks!
What a awesome guitarist
Now that's what I call giving the people what they want. I saw Poison back in 1987 with RATT and they blew RATT out of the building. They are so damn good live. All of the guys. They work their asses off and they bring such high energy and good time rock and roll attitude to their live shows. C.C. never got his due but he is totally among the great guitarists from the 1980s. And now, IMHO they are doing the same on this tour. If this tour was a daily battle of the bands Poison would be undefeated. Motley Crue wouldn't hardly ever get a vote. Def Leppard is good. They try hard and they're polished and professional but Poison is phenomenal. They've lost about nothing in 30 years.
Yeah, I saw that tour , poison was great!
CC is criminally underrated!!
see this awful solo dude
@@sodica81 Aweful? The first half was Randy Rhoads from some of his live solo's the back end was part of Eruption.. so guess you're saying Randy and Eddie was awful, cause he played them correctly.
@@ryant3600 randy and eddie not, C.C
@@sodica81 Doesn't make sense he's playing those licks correctly which are Randy and Eddies and you're still saying this solo was awful.. He was paying homage to those two greats, nothing awful about it. I thought it was classy. And doesn't matter he's still on stage here playing to like 40-70 thousand fans on this tour every show and we're not.. So there you go
Don't talk shit if you haven't seen CC live! Dude is straight up gangster on a guitar. He literally played eruption in front of my eyes 1 handed while waving to the crowd
One of the best bands I've ever seen live. Brett sure could teach Vince a thing or two.
That's because Brett unlike most singers of this era, understand you have to sing in a range best for your vocal capability. Brett does this very well, and when you listen to all the singers of this era, with the exception of say Mark Slaughter, All sound horrible compared to how they used to, like Axl, Vince Neil, Steven Pearcy, Tom Keiffer, Bon Jovi, etc... I give Brett a lot of credit for knowing what to do and not do as a singer. He could teach many singers of his era a thing or two.
The BEST CC Solo recording YET from the Stadium tours - so awesome!!!
Great job CC on the EVH SOLO!!!🤟
So glad I’m old enough that I saw these bands in the 80s with great stage, light shows and younger voices.
Great band. Great songs. Very under rated for the songs they have written over the years. Glad to see them killing it in 2022. Keep it going boys.
Everyone talks shit about CC but man he can play..
Poison. Consummate professionals. Amazing artists and songwriters. Takes me back to my childhood!
Saw them last night in Cleveland with MC 2022 Stadium Tour. IMO- Poison really stood out and gave a fantastic performance! Would see them again for sure!
My wife, Bari, and I saw Poison at least 15 times, along Cinderella: Slaughter: Warrant :Winger : Great White: Nelson :Quiet Riot: LA Guns : Faster Pussy 🐈 cat and others. Def Leppard on a different location. It was a dream. Now I'm with Jesus but the memories are incredible. Jesus loves them ,too.
Massively underrated guitarist. One of only a few guitarists who can actually play his rhythm parts, while he's playing his solos, on most of Poison's catalogue.
DEFINITELY underrated. Most guitarists sound WAY different live, but CC's got it.
@@jbzeigler CC was never underrated. He played like crap after he got hooked on drugs. Now that he's sober, he can play with the best shredders of the 80s. Hell, he'll tell you that drugs ruined his playing. He's been very open and honest about that.
@@johnpauljones9310 Was he temporarily kicked out due to his drug abuse?
@@jbzeigler After their disastrous MTV performance when a drugged out CC refused to play the planned song, he and Bret got into an actual fistfight and CC was definitely kicked out of the band.
That makes no sense he can play and solo and rhythm at the same time I forgot he has 4 arms
Glad to hear this. I saw Poison in concert four years ago and swore to people around me that CC added Eruption to part of his solo … Honestly, CC is much better than he was ever given credit for and Poison is a much better live band than they’ve been given credit for in the past.
you got that right, CC deserves more credit for his playing!
He is so good Dave Mustaine asked him to join Megadeth at one point
I’m just glad he looks so happy. There was a time he looked like he hated himself so much.
He's just much better now than what he used to be way better guitar player
Since 1986 cc has been one of my favorite guitar players
This makes me happy. Love that these guys are killing it.
My boy is KILLIN IT! NEVER been so proud to be a C.C. fan. Thank you C.C. the reason I picked up a guitar 👍🏼🤘🏼
The man is still a beast on guitar! Poison have always given 💯 and outshined other bands on the bill.
God bless these guys. They're fantastic all these years later. A testament to their talents and professionalism. My favorite band since their inception.
With Poison, you are hearing exactly what's being played on that stage. Seems the bands that like to bag on them can't say the same thing. Much respect!
I so dig how long CC’s hair is. Oh I miss the 80’s
He has actually gotten better than ever!! And he has always been a really good guitar player
It feels so good to see these guys playing …and playing tight! I’m an 80’s kid and one of the first cassette tapes I received for my 13 birthday was Look What The Cat Dragged In…..I played it until it wore out …I think songs like I Won’t Forget You are highly underrated.
CC looks great, they all do. And CC has always been a very capable guitar player/soloist. Fallen angel sounded great.
Cc throws so much cool shit in his solos. I’ll be a fan of his playing forever.
They are KILLING it this tour, definitely slowed it down a bit after bret went to the hospital. This is WAY slower than even 2 weeks ago
Nice work
Their keeping up, good to see. Look at CC looking all good out there, that rocks
Meet them backstage in 87! They were so cool! Hadn't really been a fan but became one in that moment! Got CC's parents autographs! He couldn't believe I asked!
Love Poison! CC is such a great guitarist!! So underrated!!!
Haven’t seen Poison since the late 80’s,early 90’s with Warrant and Ratt,They still have the energy,CC is fuckin killin it
Never been a big Poison fan but they sound great on this tour. Glad C.C. is doing so good . We've lost too many of our rock soldiers over the last few years.
This was such a good concert, so happy I was there to witness these four amazing bands
Was at the Cleveland show last night. Poison KILLED it!
I saw Poison 30 years ago and they are just as awesome now. CC is so talented!
Just left the Milwaukee concert. Left a third of the way into motley crue. Motley crues live sound was awful and the performance stale and just shoved a camera up a pole dancers bum mostly. Poison killed it! I want to see them again. I cant believe I actually saw CC shred live and it was AWESOME!!! Definitely the highlight of the show and the best band in the tour
Agreed. Crue did not sound good. I thought it was the sound of the stadium but Def Leppard sound terrific
Vince Neil looks terrible now
@@dr.bonscott3962 def Leppard gotto be one of the best bands - consummate professionals. They don't let themselves get out of shape from what I've seen they keep themselves so fit and tuned
Wow, this is the worst playing ever 😂😂😂
This is pretty good for CC. He's never been a great guitarist.
Poison was allways right... Nothing but a good times os all we need
So, So good to see CC rocking out again, welcome back home boys!
It's amazing people think that was good
@@XJT0428 I agree, sounded like a bunch of noise to me. Either play some music or get off the stage, enough of the "shred" nonsense already..
@@denverscott37 it's not even shred it's an 80,s player trying to shred it was awful I have seen 10 year olds play better no joke
These guys are killing it!
Excellent show, wow they are still as cool as they were when I heard them at 12
It's hard to belive c c made guitar world's top hated guitarist... such a good shredest and genuine good dude
This has got to be the best sounding band currently playing from this era. And all original members too
CC is - and always will be - The Man!!!!!
CC looks amazing and is playing crazy awesome.
Poison I hope you tour next year. I just want to see you guys. Camden waterfront NJ
A li'l ode to Randy Rhoads thrown in. Gave me goosebumps. C.C. is quite the shredder!
CC fantastic !!! Love your style one of a kind straight from the soul !!!!
Poison is kick ass just like Motley Crue,Guns N Rose's,Def Leppard all were great and still are!!!
CC is totally fun to watch!
This is one of the best live performances I've ever seen do together! Have to hand it to all of them , after all they've been through ,and keeping together, and yet looking this good still ,Hats off ,to all of them! C.C.' s solo sounded like Randy Rhoads ! Rikki is such an awesome drummer too, always has been too ,and they're all great ,like a fine wine !!
CC is my fave guitarist ever! Love all the catchy rhythms he comes up with and the solos on his albums, including Samantha 7!
I love it they are playing close to their original home in their home state and the boys are all together like they were in the early days i love this so much you guys are great! Love ya Brett, Cc, Ricky, Bobby! Bobby is looking great too he looks like he did in the early years!
I was there what a great show!
Saw them in Vegas 20 years ago and they were great. Looks like they still got it!
Glad to see Rickki Rocket actually sitting behind the drums. Used to stand and play for some songs back in the day.
Age will do that to you but he's still a,great drummer.
@@allanr6132 Has nothing to do with age! In the U.S. Classical Percussionists play standing up. In Europe most sit, unless it's Mallets or a Crash Cymbol situation.
CC great guitarist. Hoping this tour comes to the UK 🇬🇧
Saw them in Milwaukee at the brewer's stadium, the energy was off the charts !
A sober cc DeVille is as good as any guitar player out there
Uhm.....No!
@@johncaines1414 well then I stand corrected. He was better when he was high
I agree
Cc is the best. His music touched a lot of people
I like CC, but there are millions of 12 year olds on CZcams with better skills. He's the perfect guy for Poison, but he's hardly in this conversatio.
Proud to say I was there. My big mouth screaming C.C.
Trust me......this footage will go down in history!....epic!
CC killed the solo in Detroit too! Awesome job by all the boys! Loved it!
Not sure if anyone knows but he is a true Savant. He went to one guitar class as a young child, went once and never went back and taught himself instead.
Kicking ass on this tour Brett awesome band is tight welcome home pa
Saw them in 89 on crutches at the Spectrum in Philly great live band great songs such a bad ass time and bad ass guitarist
As a drummer myself... I play in a cover band on a 4 piece (one mounted and one floor tom) with an extension pedal (for double bass) and can cover a lot of metal by drummers who had HUGE kits with tons of toms etc. and still do just fine.
More drums does not necessarily mean better drummer
Loved them since I was a kid in school and saw them premier on MTV with talk dirty to me in '87 and they still kick ass now since day one!!!!!
CC DeVille can really play I saw Cinderella and Poison back in 2006 at the Zoo Amphitheater in OKC had my binoculars on him he's a good guitarist no matter what anyone haters say about him
CC is one of the best! He's fantastic ❤
CC is a very underrated guitarist. Not by his fans because they know how great he is, but by the rest of the music loving world. Everyone always mentions first the likes of Jimmy Page, EVH, Eric Clapton, Malmsteen, David Gilmour, and many others without even a thought about how incredible CC's playing really is. He is amazing as a guitarist ranks right up there with the best of them. I don't have to like poison's music to recognize the incredible musical ability contained within this group of 4 incredible musicians. I may not be a poison fan per say, but to deny the talent they possess as players, performers, recording artists and showmen would be incredibly closed minded and ignorant. They are without a doubt a great band!!!!!
OK just to followup on my comments I just posted .the second I pressed play to resume the video at 1.58 and had to stop it again on the 2.32 mark after hearing the solo was in fact EXACTLY the same as Rhoads solo 100% no doubt about it and there's also no doubt that his soloing has improved 1000% from his Poison days .it's obvious he has really stepped up his level of playin expediently .damn it brought back memories of Randy's undeniable greatness . CC blew me away and is indeed a top level player and should be praised for his continued aspirations to be a better player .90% of players from the 80s era are nowhere near as good now (30 plus years later) as they were in the past but in this case it's the opposite as he has improved drastically .got to give it up to him he's a awesome player and has remained very committed to his craft.
Awesome Music Is Awesome n have always a huge fan for a lifetime to..always stay safe and well to...this band will always Rock to❤❤❤Loved this music 40 years and counting to..This band is the Best!!!
Holy smokes! Never seen CC's hair that long! Hell yeah!
C.C. is not a great guitarist by any defintion, but he puts everything he has into his work, and you see the joy he has while performing. That's what makes him great. His love for the instrument, not what he can do on the instrument.
So he’s not great but is great and I can only you are greater obviously because you have a phone 🤣
its not about being "great" its about putting on a good show...and it seems they are doing that.
a "DJ" holding a headphone to an ear whilst turning knobs on a board could suit the younger crowd...perhaps then they could see a true instrumentalist at work.
He's always been Brilliant........
@@eagan79 relax man, grow a thicker skin, try not to be so offended on other people's behalf. No where on his post did he say he was a better guitarist than CC.
CC Deville has always been one of my favorite guitar players.
Always nice to see a comeback! CC Looks great.. Brett Michaels is a good dude!
The only poison that will NOT kill you !!!!
It's amazing how much his tone has changed since the 1st album.
EVH stripes. GOAT! 10/10 CC!
Very nice EVH salute!!!
Saw the Denver show... Unbelievable.
Cc my boy killing it. My inspiration
Looking/sounding GREAT🤘🏼🎸🎶🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Saw them in Milwaukeee and it was awesome! CC rocks!
Definitely one of the best I said it in 89 ill say it again
C.C. looks fucking great. He’s aging fucking well. It’s great to see.
Sorry..but Poison is running away with this Tour! Fan since Day 1 and Brett is blowing these other bands off the charts! Philly was fantastic and they just keep going!
Agreed I can’t wait to see them in LA in late Aug
Yes! Poison stole the show in NY
It happens. Glad to hear they’re still kicking ass!
Calm down. Poison's good, but they aren't that good. Also, Brett comes out, acting like an idiot, high fiving everyone, and acting like a complete moron.
Poison should be the headliner.
Loved them since day one.
Welcome back to pa. See you in Bethlehem pa music fest you guys rock
I really wish this tour comes to the UK 🤘
That was quite good lol..CC looks completely badass! They all look great actually.. Right on!
When ol CC was strung out I used to refer to him as "the best worst guitar player in the world" But when he's on he is so on. He's amazing.
CC is so talented! Why doesn't anyone say this about him? HE'S FANTASTIC!!!!!! 🥰😍🤩🌸❤🤟!!!!!! PS The drummer is/was a licensed Cosmetologist, did you know????? ☺️.
Seen them 2 days prior at Comerica in Detroit. Poison put on one hell of a show! CC and all of them murdered it.
Thank you Jim
Homage to EVH.. classy
Gotta Love These " Glam Poser's" ..... I'm a Poison guy from The 1st time I seen them on Mtv..... I remember everyone bustin' my ball's about my Love of Poison..... 36 yrs. Later I guess it's my turn to Bust some ball's !!!! Keep Killing it Guy's !!!!!
I remember seeing them in 1989. With Warrant. They sound just as good!
