Ken Shamrock is one of my favorites to watch in a WWE ring. I'm sure my favorite Shamrock matches are different than most's, but he's one of my guys. He's one of the best kickers in professional wrestling too. A lot of guys try to kick and it doesn't look good. Shamrock's felt legit. Dan Severn is a favorite of mine too. He didn't have much of a run in the WWE but for the time that he was there, he gave me tastes of physicality and technical skill that is hard to find.

There was an interview where Shamrock said that MMA fights were easier on the body than pro-wrestling. The fights may be scripted, but the stunts are real.
Take a look at McFoley and the Undertaker, these days. They can barely walk.

As pathetic as CM Punk's UFC fights were, I'll still give him credit for being brave enough to try. At least it humbled him up for a little bit. Now, he's back to running his mouth, nonstop.

I never was a fan of the way the WWE used Ronda Rousey. I didn't like that she was allowed to no-sell moves that normally were finishers for her opponents. Also that attack of punch-move-punch-move backing her opponent into the corner was oversold worse than most Stone Cold stunners. That also leads me into another topic, the inter-gender work of the WWE. While we all know that the WWE is scripted (I'll never use the word fake...it's more real than most people think), there still has to be a certain "believability" to the fiction, and bluntly put, Rousey countering a powerbomb by Triple H into that arm bar move of hers, and Triple H selling it like it was painful and the hold could not be broken is just eyes rolling back into my head, and just makes be shout bull***t to the screen.

An arm bar is way more realistic than a pedigree.

I like how Ronda thought that her career in the WWE was "hamstrung," when she was clearly and immediately skyrocketed to the top. She just didn't deliver with that golden ticket that they gave her.
