Thank you Blake, the question about velocity curves was from me, on my MODX7 on soft curve I see maximum velocity 123, on hard curve 115 (only sometimes, when I hit the key really much), so some elements are not even accessible without tweaking (CFX ff ff St default range is 126-127), with fully weighted keys it would be probably OK. Shifting velocities per element works, but it takes some time to tweak it.

When I follow your instructions on modx 6, the box shows up at the bottom to import just like you said but when I choose to import it says sample memory full! The only library installed is the one I want the sound from. Since it hasn't allowed me to complete import I don't Uninstaller the library. Which I want to....cuz I only want the one piano sound. What am I doing wrong? Please and thankyou!

Please can you confim that even reloading a library which I didn't import and erroneously deleted, does not restore the link between a performance saved in the User bank and its waveform data (in the library)?
My god, this is so frustrating. Please just tell us how to do stuff...step by step, no long-winded rant. By the time you get to the point I'm totally lost again.

Hello Blake, thanks a lot for this tutorial, so well explained, as usual.
Just a remark concerning IdeaScale. Yes, it definitely a good idea. But, what I've noticed is that many people have posted hundreds of good enhancement ideas. The result is that it's been 2 years since we've got a software update on the Montage. It's a bit sad, isn't it ? So I'm about to wonder : what's the point of Ideascale ? Why should I suggest improvements while I'm quite sure the Yamaha' staff won't take it into account ?

I have a question that’s probably been answered numerous times already so forgive me in advance... how do I load only the “Imperial Grand Piano” from the Yamaha Bosendorfer library? I love that piano & want to make it my “go to” AP but I don’t want the other ones & I want to keep space for other future libraries in my MODX8.

Removing the other pianos won't save much space, because I think all of them require all the same samples, they're just being processed differently, and it's the samples that take up the space, not the program parameters.
Okay I saved sounds into a library on a usb drive as well as a complete back up file from my MODX so I can use these sounds on a Montage that is used for backline. Whenever I go to load into the Montage it is not noticing any of the files on the usb drive. Why is this and have I done something wrong? Whenever I checked the usb drive the files are there.
good evening I intend to buy packs but I have a problem I have a PC MAC Book 10.9.5 from 2106 when I wanted to install for example the Yamaha editor software it does not work for my computer so I have the impression that I'm going to do it I have to change my computer, I don't really know how I'm going to do it so if later I want to take money I don't know if I could with my PC suddenly I'm bothered do you have a idea on the question thank you

I had a question I’ve been having this problem with my modx.Every time I’m building up for a dramatic song the notes cuts off because I have multiple sounds playing at the same time I was wondering why it’s doing that
Probably running out of polyphony. Remember that some single part instruments can use as many as 8 instances of polyphony for a single note, and multi-part instruments can use even more. Things that can help include more sparing use of the sustain pedal (or not having it apply to all sounds), and if you're using all AWM2 sounds, try substituting some with similar FM-X sounds which have their own polypyony. Also if you're using multi-part instruments, see if you can substitute a similar sounding single-part instrument.
