Vishal Tyagi - Vishal, the number of experiences that comes out of you can only come through years of work. Being able to rig equipment on camera is phenomenal, tells me about how you handle stress. You can start masterclasses on being in the moment and thinking on your feet. Being reassuring before the body shot, where there was an explosion was fantastic.

Sneha Menon Desai: You may be a Mumbaite, a lot of very South Indian traits were exposed when the firing of the gun and body shot were done. That was delightful. You handled the gun well, not letting too much of the recoil hit you. Well Madam Bandookbaaz, that was an eyeopener. The enthusiastic curiosity ensured that the interaction went well and Vishal seemed to be in his element. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

@@sujithsusheelan I'm being very honest, I actually didn't feel anything physically. I was just thrown off because he didn't tell me there would be an explosion - and my jacket would be ruined! :( Haha!
@@missusdesai Oh wow! ROFL. That machine gun was menacing, I initially thought that your nose had been hit by the stock of the gun. All this seemed to happen in real time, like he had about half an hour for you guys.

Another amazing episode of cheat sheet! Thank you for the great learning experience Sneha facilitates aspiring filmmakers like myself with. I got to learn so many new things related to explosions, guns and stunts in films. Keep up the good work Film Companion Team. Also, mega appreciation for having an all female crew for this episode of Cheat Sheet!
There is only one recommendation I would like make that is use some sort of a stabilisation rig like a gimbal for your cameras while filming episodes of cheat sheet. I saw the operators use monopods and I do understand it's hard to film efficiently in high pressure situations like these but something like a gimbal will up your production quality by a long shot. It will also not be much difficult to set up than the monopods camera operators used for this episode. So,a gimbal is seriously recommended!

11:08 .. guns are loaded up and ready to use .. and going ahemdabad for shooting.. if i am not wrong these guns are used in netflix's series shooting in ahemdabad in which chris hemsworth is a part if . in one of a image i have seen chris holding these guns on a set.
Everytime Vishal says do you understand, Sneha nods her head in a ‘yes’ but her face expressions clearly show she didn’t.

It's good that they thought of making a video on this subject. All these intricacies remain behind the scenes, and common people don't get to know of them. However, there's a mistake on the camera person's part. At 13:05, while Vishal was preparing the gunshot blast system on the garment, the camera person should have zoomed in on the procedure so that viewers could take a close look at it. These small, but significant, factors need to be taken care of.

Bad host, she is more surprised than prepared.....it's nothing wrong in being surprised.......but her way of conducting the interview does not look professional even.
Because I was actually more surprised than prepared! I don't think anything can prepare you for what the sound of a gunshot feels like even unless you experience it.

It was just a tour to the place by him taking you around and you asking few doubts here and there based on the discription he was giving you. A good interview is where the host gives direction to the interview in some way to make it entertaining and maintaining the flow of the interview.
