2j fairlane
The '66-'67 Fairlane was one of the best looking cars Ford ever made. Several of my friends had these when I was in high school. One was a factory XL four speed red with Cragar rims. Oh, for the good 'ol days!
That Fairlane is worth buying. It looks pretty rust free, it would be worth fixing
That car is in such restorable condition - it hurts to see it there
If I could find one this good, I'd take care of the body work, get a 347 crate motor, Tremec 5spd., Ford 8.8 or 9" rear axel and turn this into a vintage stock car replica for the street! I've always wanted to do that.
Your salvage yard videos are always the greatest. After watching it I felt like washing dust off. 👍👍👍👍👍
I would love to find one in this shape. Living in the rust belt, most of them are mostly rust by now. If they haven't been made into refrigerators or tool boxes.
I'm a Mopar guy but all I know is those dodge Daytonas are actually starting to become quite collectable and they had a whopping 146hp 😁👍
I went to the Pick-n-Pull with some friends a couple weeks ago to get some parts and I came across a 1974 Ford F200 extended cab truck as well as a 1963 Ford F200 with a homemade tow bed built on the back! They were both in good shape and I couldn't believe they were in the junkyard!
That car would be going home with me. It's well worth restoring. That foot gas pedal was same as the one I had on my 64 Galaxie 500 I had year's ago.
Youd take the whole car surely mate, send it to australia, we'd give you good money
Darn shame a classic like that gets scraped
It would be fun to see that car come to life again and the Daytona does come just as you see it the Fairlane now that's just sad to see left for junk
You have alot of really cool cars. I am really wanting to see this new 1 that you have worked on for 2 years.
This is pretty cool to see. I just pulled that motor like a week ago.
I love the junkyard trip videos.
What a waste.. my favorite year, love the stacked headlights and the semi-fastback look.. same with the 65/6 Galaxie. That was probably someone's pride and joy and they died and the family wanted nothing to do with it and sent it off to be crushed instead of putting in the effort to sell it to someone that'd love it... sadly it happens all the time. Those rims were like $1800 back when I was in high school.. Billet Specialties you saw them in all the Street Rodder/Hot Rod Magazine etc in about 2000-2004. My 69 Ranchero GT that was my first car had air shocks on it.. they didn't really help when I brought the Cleveland, FMX, and a welder home from Yuba City.. that front end was floating so bad we couldn't do more than 45 down the highway and that was still scary.
My cousin had a Austin-American back in the late ‘70’s, such a cool little car. Had enough leg room that you could fit in it without a problem. Factory interior in that Daytona, friend had one, in those early ‘80’s that little car was a ripper compared to other cars.
That tracker looks exactly like the one my grandmother had when I was like 4.
Love the junkyard videos
