A lot of people helped save not only Earth but the entire universe from Thanos. Natasha was merely the first to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Yes. And they seem to forget that part of why Nat died was to keep Clint alive. Killing him means that one of the reasons why she died was in vain.
I really hate the Ronin storyline, but otherwise, I actually like Clint.

Clint and Natasha saved the world. They were both selfless and willing to sacrifice their lives. Going back to that scene in Endgame I appreciated them more.

I sometimes wonder if Nebula, or maybe someone else, set them up deliberately so one of them had to die. I mean, why would you send the two least physically powerful and least spaceworthy heroes to a remote alien planet full of unknowns? Because they're maybe the only two with someone they love on the team to sacrifice for the Soul Stone.
@@theevilascotcompany9255 They were the two who were by far the closet of all the avengers. Thanos sacrificed the only person he truly cared about. The sacrificed must be someone the person truely loves. Sending someone else might not have worked.

@@Yuupsss Yes. My money is on that they will have a fight/conversation. How that works is a bit unclear, but as Clint and Natasha had those before, he should know how to do it! No death for either of them is a sure thing.

I love that Clint knew of Yelena’s existence. It wasn’t a shell shock that she had a sister. Of course Nat would tell him about her. They kept no secrets from each other. It just made perfect sense.
yelena vendetta with the avengers actually go way back i think. it's very understandable to me because she watched them being praised and called heroes when they did lots of bad as much as good. there's lots of collateral damages just as many as they saved. remember in her perspective they don't even come to rescued her and all the other girls from the red room. she did that with nat help. then after she returned from the blipped there's not even a freaking funeral for her sister and nobody know about her sacrifices. I'm pretty sure she'll be joining thunderbolt next instead of avengers
Also, she was clearly upset with Nat for firing despite Drekov's daughter being in a building and calling it collateral damage. She says to Nat we're still both killers, but everyone calls Nat the hero be an avenger. No one, except Clint even knew about the Red Room. She has a lot of reasons to hate the Avengers, and being distrusting of them, especially Clint, because a lot of what Nat did he knew about but still didn't do everything. She also has a point when she questioned Kate about what being an Avenger really means.

Natasha had trauma that she can't have normal family,kids.. She loved Clint's kids & family.. Part of a reason why she sacrificed herself instead of Clint..
And she was family to them too. She knew everyone would be okay if she was gone. His kids called her Aunt. She knew Yelena could take care of herself.

I feel so sorry for Yelena I really really do. I know how it feels to lose a loved one. Going after Hawkeye and trying to kill him is not the way to understand what happened. She needs to understand why she died, what happened, and the events taking place during that time

man, you can really see the personality change from black widow to hawkeye. shes so clearly wracked by grief and filled with thirst for vengeance. the humorless laughter before immediatley getting serious and bitter, contrasted against how relatively upbeat she was in black widow. yeah, she just escaped from essentially a life of mindcontrol and murder, but she was also taking down the people who did that to her, reaffirming the most important relationship in her life, and reconnecting with her family, who were the only good part of her life that she can remember. and then it all gets taken from her.
Whenever I see Yelena I feel so heartbroken!
I think the thing most of us missed in Vormir is that, whoever sacrifice were made, they'll get the stone either way. They loved equally to each other.
If it was Clint, Natasha would have gone through the same PTSD as Clint have.
Having an argument to Thor about getting your hammer and fly there really shows how emotional Clint is of losing her, I think all of the original six is.

Clint AND Natasha saved the world. If it was any other duo there would not be a soul stone #2.
The Soul Stone knows all. It can't be bargained with. You have to sacrifice that which you love in order to possess it or go home. The only stone that exacts such a cost. Gamora's demise was her ignorance of Thanos love for her. Clint loved Natasha, Natasha loved Clint. One of them wasn't coming back and both were determined to get that stone because the plan was useless without it. Strangely both Nat and Clint loved each other more than themselves at that moment. I wonder if Natasha and Yelena had been on the mission would Yelena have been able to stop Natasha.
That memorial is so sad to me.The Battle of New York, the first avengers movie.All the original 6’s names there, commemorating the historic moment when the mcu truly began.Now Tony and Nat are dead, Steve is really old and considered dead, Thor has lost his girlfriend twice, his mother, father, brother, planet, his friends, Bruce and Hawkeye are all that’s left on earth of the original 6, forever living with the knowledge that they lost their friends, and unlike Thor daily seeing reminders of what they lost.

Nobody knows what happened on that planet besides Clint, and he would only see Nat's death as his fault and most likely didn't explain what happened to anyone. So she's not wrong, she's just misguided and being used. That isn't her fault.

that’s what my dad and i were thinking while watching this episode. we understand that she feels pain over natasha’s death, but she sounds almost hypocritical.
I mean most of her murders were because she was brain washed no? And then she spent/spends a lot of her time freeing black widows so they’re not doing the same. Also she doesn’t pretend to be a good person I don’t think. I do agree she’s killed her fair share of people but I think the difference is that Yelena had less of a choice than Clint. Could be wrong and I don’t know a lot about Yelena, just what I’ve seen in Black Widow and Hawkeye, but I think it’s unfair to compare the two. Also Clint could retire, he’s got a wife and kids to go home to, a family he keeps promising that he’ll retire. Yelena’s motivation is to not let others go what she went through and to ‘avenge’ her sister, she has more of a reason to keep fighting.
I think it is horroble to pin this on clint yeah take him out for things he is respondable for but i mean did he really "kill" her? He tried to stop her. I think this is anime guilt/blaming bullshit to me.

Both Natasha and Clint killed people for a living long before they became avengers they were master Assassins for shield. But unlike the other Avengers they didn’t become hardened to death they took each and every death of a innocent as their own personal failure . Unlike Steve, Tony,Bruce and Thor.

The one and only thing that bothers me here is how imperfect Natasha's Russian language and Elena's Russian accent are. I wonder who consults these people when they are making the movies anyway. Is that SO impossible to find the appropriate accent coach and the language consultant? No Russian would ever say "moya malenkaya sestra". This is so long, unnatural and looks like they used Google Translate! A Russian person would say "sestrichka" or "sestryonka", which sounds much more intimate and caring.
