I think Vickers was on LSD in that Martinsville Race in 2011.
Nah, that's the red bull
@@crouchb15 red bull with lsd in it
Dude I was there. The crowd was going nuts every time he threw out a caution.
With the stories weve heard about Mayfield and others i wouldnt be surprised lol. I actually liked Mayfield a lot i hope hes doing well nowadays. His win at Richmond back in 10000BC or whatever was one of the first really awesome Chase (that i hate but anyways) moments. Dope seeing Byron pull that off at Daytona last year. As a Gordon fan its incredibly nostalgic seeing the 24 win lol.
Man woke up that morning and chose violence
Brian Vickers at Phoenix: *LEEROOOOOOOY JENKIIIIIIIIIIIINS*
Oh my God, he just retaliated.
Jeff G liked this lolol
Lmao I miss Jimmy Spencer so much!!
Same here
We need a Jimmy Spencer video, but what? 🤔
Bad Seasons?
Good- nope, I can't finish that
Busts?
Career?
"I had 5 straight wrecks & finished 30th & for that you Should hire me"
LOL, I miss Jimmy
I needed this after god knows what the ISM race was
Unfortunate that this is the season finale next year
Don't blame the track, blame the package NASCAR has put out for these cars. And sadly there hasn't been any changes announced for next season regarding it, so be prepared for the same uniform, "Everyone form a line", style racing... didn't know NASCAR wanted to be like F1 so bad.
@@Springaahhh Except the track was never good in the first place, but yeah this year's package is rather odd.
Am I the only one who misses the old Phoenix layout with the grass and all that?
@@JustMatt91 No, I do as well.
God bless Jimmy Spencer

Missing successful careers: Brian Vickers
that would be a great series!
I'll give you another one Casey Mears
I always liked Brian Vickers as a driver but what Jimmy Spencer said pretty much summed up his 2011 season
I don't know that i'll ever forgive Brian Vickers for costing Matt Kenseth a shot at the championship in 2011. I think Matt was leading the points going into Martinsville that year.
DanTheRacer99 nope. Smoke and Carl was ahead of him. Matt was top 5 though
Nah Carl was ahead by lots
Either way Matt lost a lot of points at Martinsville, 30+. He would have at least to Homestead with a legit chance.@@beniPelle

I miss the speed channel
Omg I forgot how pissed I was at him after both Martinsville and Phoenix for wrecking Matt.
Feel bad for him. He’s never had top equipment unless it was HMS from 2003 to 2006.
and that's not even the best equipment in HMS let alone the Cup series itself.

Fun fact: The current president of IndyCar, Jay Frye, led Red Bull’s NASCAR program.
I remember his win @ Loudon in 2013. That was was a comeback for him.
And then he ruined it by being involved in the MWR conspiracy which put the nail in the coffin for his career

Damn it I knew I had vickernism
Ugh, I know it was a year before but imagine if Kyle Busch went here instead of JGR in 2008.
That would have been terrible. Bad enough that a talented driver like Vickers got stuck here, but Red Bull REALLY would have wasted Kyle's talent, provided that he would have stayed there until the end.
Good Seasons: Bobby Labonte 1999
Bad Seasons: Darrell Waltrip 1999
Championship Season: Dale Jarrett 1999
He already did Jarrett’s champ season.
@@richieosborn2639 He also gave the "Bad Seasons" to Johnny Benson Jr, and the "Good Seasons" to Tony Stewart for his stellar rookie season.
Vickers probably had a parking pass considering how many times NASCAR parked him...
Jimmy Spencer funny and hilarious cracks me up 😂 about Brian Vickers wreck at Martinsville
Good Seasons: Sterling Marlin 2001
Bad Season: Jamie McMurray #2 (2011). Winning 3 races in 2010 & high hopes into 2011, but it was a disastrous year on the track & off when his hometown was decimated by the EF-5 tornado in Joplin, MO
That would be a good one considering the High Hopes he had for 2011, at least Jamie Mac Got a 500 win and An All Star Win Something Not Even Tony Stewart Has Done.
@@alexthesniper1952 technically he has done both, one 500 win as an owner (2017 by Kurt Busch) and a couple All Star wins both as a driver (2009) and owner (2009 by himself, 2018 by Kevin Harvick).
@Rusty2ftw did Jamie McMurray hometown was wrecked by a EF-5 Tornado in 2011 ? I know his hometown is Joplin MO because it gets showed sometimes in the driver's lineup in single player for nascar heat 2
Good Seasons: Jamie McMurray 2010

If it were not for those blood clots, I think he'll be decent winning a few races... making the playoffs a few times...
I know this sounds debatable, but that's just my opinion.
I feel like Brian Vickers was one of those guys everyone rooted for even if he wasn’t your favorite driver.
I feel like the blood clots was the beginning of the end for Vickers
I was a big fan of brain Vickers and I screamed when he won in 2013. Wish he would come back and try again but I understand why he cant.
God those paint schemes are nice

Unpopular Question: did Blood Clots ruin his career? (just curious)
I thought he had heart problems
Rocco Lore Poor Brian tho...
Rocco Lore Michigan was torture to him
He came back in 2016. Subbing for Tony Stewart.
At the beginning the #83 and a red car shot flames at the same time
in 2011 the team shifted everything to kasey kahne and left him with the leftovers
Because Kahne didn't make stupid decisions throughout the entire season, unlike Vickers.
Kinda miss him racing

Good Seasons: Martin Truex Jr 2012-2013
Oh what could’ve been after his 2009 campaign for himself and RBR had he not had those blood clots. And oh what could’ve been in 2014 and 2015 following his part-time upset win at New Hampshire in 2013 and had his health not deteriorated again.
Out of all drivers, he was one of few drivers who was in GT5 and GT6.
Last time I had Brian bickers in my nascar cup series was in 2015 he finished 20th in points and his last win I ever gave him 2014 Chicagoland
That Daytona 500 repair job. Good night!
Edit: Did that car finish the Martinsville race? I'm curious.
Makes sense. 2011 was by far the worst season he ever had.
Brian Vickers 2013 Sprint Cup Series season stats were 17 starts 1 win 2 top fives 6 top tens and an average finish of 18.9 before a blood clot in the right calf forced him to miss the remainder of the season in October.
Is it just me, or were paint schemes in 2011 so...good! Like, look at Robby Gordon's bright orange #7. Even Vickers had a nice silver bullet of a ride
Whenever he wasn't winning he was driving like he had too much red bull
8:27 Hilarious! Very hilarious!

Always thought that Red Bull car looked sweet
The old saying is certainly not what goes down must come up lol
NASCAR Busts: Hut Stricklin (Probably)
First Wins: Brian Vickers 2006
Hut was actually decent despite being winless.
Can we just take the time to think about aggressive racing in red bull nascar and f1
At least the paint scheme was lit 🙌
Red Bull had some fire paint schemes.
DENNY WINS ISEM
He runs into Montoya, which is sometimes understandable😂😂😂😂😂😂
Red Bull had such explosive success in F1 because they had the benefit of buying up two pre-existing teams that had already established thier pedegrees as a championship winning team (Benneton) and a storied independent midfield team that was capable of punching well above their weight class (Minardi).
Jaguar, not Benetton (that was Renault).
Red bull 2009 started improvement in F1 and in 2010 till 2013 they dominated the sport. Shame that RB didn't repeat that in nascar
Nascar busts: David Ragan
I wouldn't say regan is a bust more like a wasted potential
i remember seeing redbull perform well , and wondered why they fell off the cliff , maybe they had the wrong drivers.... i like vickers hes talented , maybe it was bad team chemistry , either way , was weird to see a team with unlimited pockets fall off the cliff

Jimmy Spencer should have been hired to replace DW
But it wasn’t gloom and doom for RBR because Kasey Kahne won a race at Phoenix
Imagine if JGR Supported them like they supported FRR...
WTF Seasons: Kyle Busch 2015
Bad seasons: Dale jr 2010, 2017
We need Jimmy Spencer these days.
I miss Steve Byrnes
Brian Vickers is almost Chad Little bad when it comes to wrecking cars and that’s pretty bad. Chad Little was known for strowing John Deere parts all over tracks across the country. I guess Brian Vickers littered tracks with Red Bull cans
I didn’t think it was funny when Vickers was talked about like that he tried his best but never succeeded
Bad Season: William Byron 2019
Please tell me that was a typo. There's no way you can call this year bad for Byron. He was improved in almost every facet from his rookie year.
We need Jimmy Spencer back
And people think Brian Vickers cant drive
Not a bad season. A season of pure stupidity. The fact taht he ever got even partial rides after this is shocking.
The thing is, he can drive pretty decently. His problem is that's he's just an idiot. Makes so many dumb moves throughout multiple races.
Did Brian Vickers ever have a GOOD season?
Also after next week can you do Matty D 2019 for a Good Season?
His 2013 part-time season in the 55 was good.

Not that Kasey Kahne caused Vickers to wreck every time, but I'm amazed by how often he was running near Kasey when he wrecked.
