    Loved the 2" on my DR. Looking at the anti-vibe pivoting next!

    I believe they save your bars a bit as it adds a slight flex point in the event of a tip over. Moves the rox riser rather than twist your bar.

    Just added the anti vibration risers to my 2022 KLR650.
    I didn't need to reroute anything. I'd say they help dampen vibration and the higher bars are WAY better for standing up and riding.

    Installed the 2 inch risers yesterday on 2016 KLR 650.
    Had to rotate throttle cables to down side of bars, and reroute clutch cable to left of the frame from wrapping around the front to the right side of the frame. Used a couple zip ties to the frame to keep fender from bumping the cable when turning bars left and right

      How did you get the wrench in the tight spot during the install?

    • @HK-qj4im
      @HK-qj4im Před rokem +1

      @@ADVRaiderKTM you tighten the one that will be hidden first...then rotate the riser up (forward) then tighten the rear one.
      There is a video somewhere on this. On my KLR the bolts were normal head bolts so a wrench could be used.

    There are two HUGE issues that arise when installing these that everyone needs to keep in mind. First, it’s nearly impossible to tighten the bolts on the bottom side due to the handlebar being in the way. I had to cut an Allen wrench off just enough to get a wrench on it to fit between the bar and the bolt head that’s being blocked so I could torque it down. Second, the part that goes through your factory gooseneck does NOT go all the way through- it only sits halfway through. This is due to the design of the riser and the sides hitting the side of the gooseneck preventing it from going all the way through. It will tighten, but it would make me feel more confident and safe if the risers would go all the way through on the oem top clamp. This was on a 2019 Street Triple Triumph.

    Would they work with 2020 street triple rs as i found handle bar little too far from my reach and makes riding position uncomfortable for long rides ?
    Do i need to change any lines or wires ?

    I had the exact issues he mentioned. I picked up my bike after dropping it and realised that my handlebars were completely twisted and the front wheel was facing the wrong way. Same issue with the install because the Allen wrench doesn't fit. Does anyone know any alternatives that don't have these two issues?

    With those risers can you bring the handle bars back closer to you? I have a 2006 honda 1300 vtx and I installed a new mustang seat and it sits me further away from the handlebars. From what a few people have told me you can adjust it to bring the bars closer.

      Yes you can, your cables must be long enough.

    Do they work on r15 v3 clip on

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  Před 5 lety +1

      No, these do not work with clip-ons, only with flat bars. Due to the shape of the fairing/windscreen, you may not be able to change the height of the clip-ons with taller riser clip-ons. You need to measure the clearance when the handlebars are turned fully left and fully right. -DrewZilla

    Do they come for kx100?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  Před 6 lety

      As far as I know, the KX100 uses 7/8" bars, so you could use the 7/8" Rox Risers. Be sure to check the bar diameter at the clamps yourself though. -DrewZilla
