Now, when I shop for skincare, I always look at the ingredients and make sure the product is NAFE safe. The first major change I did after watching your videos was ditching anything that had fragrance in it and it has done wonders for my skin. Dr. V, I’m using CeraVe’s PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion, which you’d recommended, and I love it. Would you say it can also be used to hydrate the eye area or could it be irritating to the eye area?
Aesthetician here! It should most certainly be suitable around the eye- the one thing is it has niacinamide which is normally well suited around the eye area but some people have sensitivity to it. If you feel stinging around the eye with it stop use around the eye and grab a more simple lotion to use around the eye.

I suggest you to go to a dermatologist's office and let them prescribe you tretinoin for anti aging and acne management. It's much cheaper than using cosmeceutical products that promise you younger looking skin. Dr Dray has said about the efficacy of retinyl palmitate that is not really working to stimulate collagen production. I know it's counterintuitive to what Dr V has said. The research of retinyl palmitate is not convincing. Start with low percentage first if you are afraid of the irritation and dryness that might occur.

I can only tolerate retinol 0.3% anything higher burns my skin. Oly retinol 24 max burned my skin , gave me daily headaches. Dr. what do you recommend that has low retinol percentage. I have sensitive skin.
