There is a reason why no-gi submission grappling is moving away from old school guard-pulling bjj. Half-guard is now taught as a safer position than side control (where opponents can shrimp away) and leg locks are just making their way into IBJJF. Don't buy into all the old school bjj hype, wrestling still beats bjj if you're not on an open mat (fence wrestling) and your opponent is punching you in the face.

I mean Kim was obliterated by Ritu, both hand pinned, and she was just lying there helplessly and couldn't do anything but accepted that hit after hit in her face, Kim might feel so embarassed by that lost.
