I feel like Conan is one of the few comedians/talk show hosts that doesn't present as super affected by a lack of a studio/audience/physical show
Same! I see the others overcompensating by either having one of their staff randomly show up at their house or have 3-4 guests over zoom. It just doesn't work 🤔
he just masks it well. he's said in the past that during the time he wasn't allowed on TV, he hated it and that's also why he loves doing the remote segments so much - the interaction with people.

Since I saw the show last summer, I havent laughed as hard as I did when Martin Short pulled out "Stepbrother to Jesus"

Was genuinely waiting for Martin Short's cricket sound effect, it just fits in with conan's laughter. Just two amazing comedians, giving each other a hard time, one with compliments and one with jabs.

I love how Martin always burns Conan but you can totally see Conans respect for Marty and takes it so lightly.
I had to wait until I had a moment where I was guaranteed no interruptions from these children to enjoy this. These two never disappoint! Too funny. I love it...and the fact that they will go for a walk together makes me feel so great.
Conan's laugh, by far, is one of my favorite laughs of all time. It's so infectious!

You've lost your mind, I'm up to date with Martin Short and he's doing fine. Calm down, observe the entirety of him and not just a small snapshot from whatever gave you that idea. There are lots of good bits of conan and martin that are up, just look it up, they're best friends and have done a lot of things together. Not to mention podcast too

I have to hand it to you Zetsule4, you may very well be right , I think I may well have lost many parts of my mind, having gone thru alot of serious depression (from my husband's infidelity ) myself for the past 5 yrs. Having done so, I probably do feel a hyper vigilance toward validating the feelings of others. You yourself didn't
pick up on my underlying depression + seem angry
that I could have sensitivity toward another's inner feelings, based on more than their ability to make me laugh. We're all different. Some can always joke their

Jiminy Glick is one of the best characters ever
When Jiminy Glick was first on, I didn't find it funny. Then I saw some clips a year or so ago and it's some of the funniest comedy I've ever seen. It's the reverse of seeing a movie or show you thought was great when you were a kid or teen that you rewatch as an adult and realize just how bad it is.

Martin Short is incredible. He is pure fun. But the real hero of this interview is Conan, who being a great comedian himself, didn’t try to steal his own show back, but instead was a regular guy admiring the genius of Martin Short and gave him his proper shine.
When I was little I watched “the 3 amigos” 20+ times. Martin short was always my moms favorite, she loved Ed grimley.

Honestly, yes, Marty does look older (obviously; that's how time works), but I feel like it's taken longer than it has for most people his age. I still see him as that energetic little trickster he's always been.
