The designs on these two are excellent. I really like the headpiece for the fish girl and like how they incorporated swan lake music into Odette's clothes. Her printed underwear is super detailed too. I need for MGA to make a princessy or lolilta dress line of dolls. It would be so wonderful. I mean we also get the occasional Omg/Tween or Rainbow High doll in a frilly or fancy dress but I want more of it.
I think the whole thing with the kois headband is that it’s suppose to be lily pads flowing down a stream. Also I wanted to complain a bit about nanana teens here. I feel like the biggest problem with them is that they’re treated at the small nananas. The reason the small nananas have printed accessories is cause they’re so small. But with the nanana teens, they’re bigger than RH, they need a reason to be this high price. If the printed accessories were actual accessories, then it could explain the price a lil bit more. Also I say this cause it’s annoying to see such beautiful accessories on these dolls only for them to be printed on… like damn, Coco Von Sparkles gloves and rhinestone bracelets are so cute… but printed on.
I'm not really mad about the printed-on stuff, is the most interesting detail that makes them unique. Also considering their soft bodies I can see how plastic bracelets and similar would only get lost easily. But I do agree that treating the actual clothes and comb as "accesories/surprises" is just cheap, they literally have nothing else going on, not even separate fashion packs to swap and style... I found by accident that lalaloopsy clothes fit my small nanana doll, and that's the only piece of clothing for her to swap. I'll make something else for sure, but is still not enough...
I love the Na Na Na dolls, especially the teens, it'd be such a pity for them to discontinue them, they're so different to most of what's on the market rn, like I usually don't go for dolls that are lacking in articulation but these are just so precious that I'm willing to let it slide because proper articulation just wouldn't really work with how they're made. I don't see them in shops super often, there was a bizarre fuss at one point about their underwear here in the UK so I think maybe that's part of it over here at least, maybe shops heard that and chose not to stock them as a result (not to mention we just don't have as many toy stores as the US in general it seems), and maybe MGA was a little concerned after all of that too. I absolutely adore these two, and also really love the peacock she looks stunning. I do kinda struggle with the price, not because I don't think it's worth it (imo if you can afford it and it makes you smile then it's worth it), just because I don't have much money so I kinda get priced out, I have seen them on clearance a couple of times though. I also always sorta wish they hadn't done the surprise thing, I think they might've done better if we didn't have to look up which sticker corresponded to which doll (especially with the early small ones where shapes were vague), some people wouldn't know to check that, and at least where I am some shops and shopping centres have stuff that blocks signal so if you don't have the list readily available you're kinda outta luck. I'll have to add these to my list of things to look out for, maybe if they appear here by December/January I can get them as a holiday or birthday gift for myself.

These are the 2 I got. Love them! Their hair was super messy for me too when I opened them. The fish shoes are so cool but won’t stay on the feet of my koi fish doll. The dress was extremely crumpled and the beautiful undergarment was unfortunately misprinted for my swan doll. I use the Kaiser stands for my na na na dolls. I need to get more since I got these girlies. Oh, and I’m so glad I saw this review. I had trouble putting Odette’s headpiece on and now I realize why. I will be sad if these dolls are canceled too.

I did ballet as a child Swan Lake was always a favorite- she is so beautiful! The printing issues do worry me a little but her pieces are so excellent. I can't wait to get Odette. 🖤🤍

oh you got my two favorites! funny story about that, when i just saw those series' official pictures for the first time, I looked at them for 5 minutes, briefly made up my mind about who's my favorite and then my mom came into my room and I showed her the dolls (as I do, her favorite RH doll is Emi lol) and she said " I'll guess who's your favorite... you like the swan the best but the koi girl's hair is also your thing!" which was, in fact, the thing that I thought to myself 5 minutes earlier. it was so funny because these two aren't even that on the nose with my preferences! ... back to the video, it's the first I saw so thank you for a thorough review! they look amazing. the fish shoes are so cute, but I was surprised she has a lotus headband, I thought it was two lotus hairclips. the dress looked awesome on Shanelle, I bet it'll look good on Heather too.
You got the same two I did! I kinda do want the other two, but I love Keiko in particular. She's so gorgeous I love her. The lotus pattern on her underwear is so unexpected and pretty, and I kinda want to see if I can paint the fish inside her shoes somehow? But I'd be afraid to break them, too. ;-; Her headband is so pretty, everything about her is so pretty. She's probably my favorite Na Na Na doll period. Odette, I ended up going through her dress layers with fray check. xD But I love her, too! The crab doll has grown on me since the reveal, and I love the swan and peacock right from the get go. This line is super solid overall, and it'd be super sad if this is the last one to ever be released. Either way, I'm grateful it was produced and not canceled!

This series is only set to come out December 31st of 2023 where I live and I'm SO EXCITED for them! I thought I only really wanted the peacock but these two also look absolutely amazing! The detailing is just gorgeous 😍 I love that they have headbands in this series, I'm not the biggest fan of the animal hats.
You can also stand NaNaNa dolls in cups, I use stemless wine glasses for my smaller NaNaNa dolls and they stand pretty nice, as long as the cup is clear it'll work, but not everybody likes the look of it though. :D
OMG I'm so glad these dools are still kicking! I also thought they were discontinued, even if buying them is not really easy for me, but they exist and that makes me so happy

i think their price point has a lot to do with why theyre not super popular with kids. $30+ for a plush toy that'll get dirty super easy with only one outfit? not a lot of parents are willing to spend that. however ive noticed that whenever they go on clearance they tend to sell really fast (at least in my area)
I thought there is going to be a winter line coming? With a reindeer and other winter themed dolls. Also a large jewels line coming as well in two separate releases.

I bought Keiko the koi on Amazon for $32 hopefully even though it’s only Amazon so far hopefully they go on sale 🤞🤞🤞 omg stains mine had a small stain on her top lip I also have no idea how or if I could fix it. I def want the swan 🦢 & peacock 🦚 probably will also buy the crab 🦀 but hopefully I’ll see an unboxing or pics 🤞

I understand what you say, but i kind of like about the Nana dolls, they are different from others being all printed.
