- Today I'm showing you the Hanayama U&U solution.

The U&U puzzle is a level 4 difficulty out of a possible 6 on the Hanayama scale.
The U&U solution has quite a few tricky steps but the key to every step is 4 very small differences on certain parts of the puzzle. Three of which are based around 3 of the 4 nuts and the 4th is about one of the bolt pieces.
When you're following the U&U solution in the video, keep in mind that you have to be very precise with some of the moves, even when you know what to do, it can still take some time to get it right.

Oddly, and my wife noticed this, the right nut on the Hanayama U-shaped piece unscrews totally off the bolt! This makes the puzzle much easier to solve!
I've solved this puzzle so many times that I can just about solve it blind folded, no joke!
I still can’t make it past the first step, it won’t go oast
I struggle to put it back together.

The infamous “Double U Bolt” puzzle…..😡
It’s funny to me how I could solve a puzzle that is two levels higher than this one yet this one gave me trouble for so long.
This one is tough and can be quite fiddly when getting certain pieces past others without using brute force.
