How many nuggets did Steve had to eat during the entire shoot of this video?? LOL 😂
lookedok
Well someone had to make a sacrifice.
Uncountable 😭
I’m guessing 2000 pcs at least.
Lol Chris's "chicken nuggets" are essentially chicken tenders/fingers, not chicken nuggets 😂
His sauce sounds awesome though.
yea his sauce looks deliciouso
Where’s the receipee
leftover.... we all know it not piece but it a good cheap food...
On the bright side, chicken nuggets help solve food wastage as it can use parts of chickens that nobody buys. Homemade chicken nuggets could follow the same principle to help reduce food wastage.
True.
Hotdogs have more animal parts lol
Did you watch the video? They use chicken legs and breasts, not the parts that nobody eats. And the chicken nugget industry is actually one of the worst for the environment, as they really on industrial poultry farming (which is also cruel for the animals).
@@anaromero7517 you are the kind who believes what they tell you on video. Why would they make nuggets out of legs and breasts??
Ana Romero poultry farming is normal
The experiment where he gives the kids a choice of homemade or like McDonald's worked out so much better than what happened to Jamie Oliver, where pretty much every kid wanted the fast food one even after being told what was in them.
Everytime steve talks about nuggets, he is putting them into his mouth
22:43 Its free what! Singaporean hustle
14:22 "Its great for sharing"
She must have been dining with mother theresa at mcdonalds. cause nobody is sharing nuggets
True
As a kid watching this, I'm actually not gonna fall for anymore tricks but I really want to try that
The chef's nuggets and special sauce looks really yummy
God's Amazing Grace Works Wonder For Chicken Nugget Mix
Great, now we know more about nuggets ..... hoping also do an episode on instant noodle, most people favorite too.
Steve, I love all your shows. They're super informative and, thanks to you, really entertaining. Keep going!
this is like CBC marketplace, maybe even better but im loving them all
I don't know but I prefer my homemade chicken nugget more. No crazy masterchef technique or ingredient. Just common minced chicken meat bought in local supermarket, add egg, fine panko, garlic powder, salt, sugar, paprika powder, and chopped thyme. Just mix it with hand. Then coat with another layer of panko to add more crunch texture. I think I like that way better. It is more juicy and taste more like chicken than our usual nugget. After some experiment, I found that adding coarsely chopped mushroom like portobello will add some unique texture, sauteed onion for more juicy taste, etc. What I ove from the home made is it is totally ours to decide
your recipe sounds nice
7:57 i think its just your cooking
Chris: If kids see vegetable no matter how small they are, they will pick it out
also chris: *sprinkles basil*
Entirely depends on how you cook vegetables. They need seasonings, spices and sauces to be delicious like everything else if your serving single vegetables with no seasoning or flavors, of course no one likes it.
If your making a plate of Asian traditional cuisine, with multiple primary ingredients and seasoning and sauce that compliments those flavors, millions of people love it.
Thank you CNA for making such a good content
CNA puts out quality vids. Cheers!
bruh the kids double dipping just threw the whole eating etiquette thing out the window... imagine eating 5 other kid's saliva
They are kids, dont expect them to have a really good etiquette especially kids nowadays, since strict parents are becoming rare
Great stuff! Keep up the good work!
I’m enjoying these ultra processed food series!!
feel like ordering 20 piece nuggets now
did u do it?
its been 8 months
@@Pengulin yup haha 😄
From McDonald’s lol
We Asians cook the innards and make it everyday consumption. So what’s the problem with chicken nuggets?
Ikr? I dunno, I live in Delaware, USA and we absolutely LOVE our scrapple! Google it. It’s composed of pork liver, hearts, fat, tails, snout, etc., but it’s DELICIOUS!!!! And yet people around here will complain about nuggets too. It’s ridiculous.
*Laughs in haggis*
The problem's not the innards/ bones but the addictive & large amount of other ingredients such as salt, flour, sugar... that goes into it just to cover the lack of similar taste as if you were using for ex only breast with right amount of other ing.. to make nuggets which directly effect ones health. I'm not sure how old you'r but I wasn't expecting you got that out of this whole video & no less from a fellow asian's a bit worrying but at the same time not surprised of the thought process due reasons..... I don't believe there's such things as one "healthy food" instead it all comes down to a balance of what you get from all -fat to there rest..
0:53 the oil...
_~gordon ramsay_
@18:22 Should wash hand before shake hand. LOL
SmileZero noice one
HAHAHA
COVID-19 alert.
I just think the same when see it 😂😂😂

I just brushed my teeth and my stomach is growling...How?
samee

Repent , the kingdom of God is at hand , read your bible for yourself, and pray , there is nothing our there in the world ,as God to guide and protect you ,if you have any question please ask me.
i wonder how much nugget he ate during the filiming of this video
Respect for Chris, he gave a restaurant to pursue being a school canteen chef for kids 👍
And I love all these episode ❤
Every mom watching this wants the recipe for the nugget and sauce
Would love the recipes for the magical tomato sauce and homemade baked chicken nuggets!
nuggets are my comfort food.. i wish i had that much time and the equipment to make healthier homemade ones
you can make them in advance
You need to add wheat flour and yeast for your nugget to even compare to the commercial ones, Steve. Flour is necessary for making nuggets.
21:42 His Reviews Are honest
love the retro car in @17.45
I thought I've seen it all but having an Asian Bill Clinton as the host is a new one.
More then 20 nujhetss host ate great for Mc D's commercial ad lovin' ittt 🧸
8:10 I reckon that's Farmland brand chicken nuggets.
Indeed it is, and a Malaysia produced one. The Singaporean version of the same product doesn't use palm olein and is lower in both total fat and saturated fat. So lesson is to always check nutritional labels if possible and avoid Malaysian food products since they pretty much add palm olein to everything which is bad.
I really enjoy Steve Chia. I’m totally hooked on this channel
This is making me crave McNuggets so badly, but all the McD's near me are closed due to COVID-19. Blarrrgh.
Wah 2000 followers also considered influencer ah🙄🙄🙄
You should steam the chicken nugget mixture first before fried them, so the taste will be similar to chicken nugget store
This must be a very tasty episode to make.
22:14 “we only use chicken breast with no skin. So, 100% pure chicken” 😂
It not about choosing healthy food over the unhealthy ones. It the cost of those foods. Unhealthy food is always cheaper than healthier one. I would still go for white rice because they are cheaper than brown or red rice.
There should be a nutrition fact for the healthier nuggets made to affirm that the nuggets are really healthy.
OMG!!! Histology technique... I wish I could work as histologist
Tq for sharing this
CoVid19: exists
Kid at 21:06 :double dips
20:39 24 year old parmesan cheese?? hahahaha
Yay Steven Chia!
I love this guy.
tq and really good
I like cheese and tomato😂
Saturated fat is good. More salt is good also. - provided you don't eat the carbs, which are essentially poisons. So eat the meaty part and leave the batter on the saide of the plate. Dieticians should no longer be promulgating the myth about saturated fats.
I enjoy eating those nuggets from supermarkets
Deep fry 10 pcs
Dip in thai chilli sauce
So yummy
Remember eat in moderation and infrequently
what are the brands tested?
I have converted to a Vegetarian since 2015 and there is no turning back. Thanks God 🙏🙏🙏 I have cut out all these processed food from my consumption.
cool car dude
Whats the best brand of frozen chicken nuggets? i only buy this brand call freezepak, the rest all not as good. some the taste is off and some texture like mush... buy once and never buy again.
all in all just eat these in moderation, like once every week should be alright
@22:40 lmao obviously they will choose macdonalds nuggets over homemade nuggets. most of the children "like" it because of the cheese not because of how tasty the nugget is. when steve asked the question, someone said "because its free" lol
Chef Chris, can you pls share your recipe for nugget and sauce so we can make for our children?
Good advert for LHI
So much chicken flavor! So little chicken! 😂 🎤
Poison wrapped in food..get some diabetes with my heart disease..yum im lovin it🍔🍟🌭🤣
My Friend is in the tasting chicken nuggets part! She’s famous!
Yes u r
Me: I want to avoid processed food.
Now let me put my food ingredients in the food processor.
20:38, "24 year old" parmagian cheese. LOL. I'm sure he meant months.
now i want to try eat chicken nuggetss. what brand shpuld i try?
Chris called his sauce "Magic" sauce lmao
I wonder why those companies he interviewed agreed to let public knows what’s inside nuggets
maybe its free advertising for them so why not and at the same time educating the public
Where to buy Chris's nuggets and sauce?
I hate people who don't let fried food drain on paper towels. At least let the oil drip off on a wire rack. Smh I hate soggy and super greasy foods.
Nice vid
Mc donalds nuggets cost like actual gold nuggets so that's how I avoided eating it
Pink slime looks like what I feed my cat.
This guy, just has chicken nuggets in his pocket hahaha
Before watching: like chicken nuggets
After watching: try making healthier nuggets ... too time consuming and not that tasty.
Now: back to eating fast food nuggets ... so convenient.
This is just my experience, but i didn't grow up eating fast foods. I was 15 the first time i ate chicken nuggets from maccas. it was alright, but not that amazing. However, as an adult I just don't have a craving for them. I've bought expensive chicken breast nuggets and found I didn't enjoy them. So every time I see them advertised I just don't have any recollection that is very positive, so I don't eat them at all. The same thing applies to burgers and fries. My only weakness is pizza and KFC. But I think growing up eating home cooked meals I've developed an immunity to sweets and ultra processed foods. I enjoy cooking and creating flavours myself. So I think it is important to teach kids about this from a young age.
Watching this while eating Mcdonald nuggets 😜
24-year-old parmigiano. nice. I personally like my cheese a little less aged. but to each their own.
i think chef chris was the school vendor at my primary school o h m y g o d
How about eating meat substitute nuggets eg: Quorn nuggets rather than chicken nuggets?
I didn’t know I was actually quite early
The fat shouldnt be your main concern, because high amount of salt; sugar; flour and deep frying damage you more.
Chicken nuggets are easier to make at home than fish balls though
The different brands of nuggets.... Pick your poison! Muhahaha
Can I have the recipes for the healthier chicken nuggets.. for my future kids .. if I have any.
I volunteer to eat those chicken nuggets!
We should make dumplings the more popular healtier option than chicken nuggets.
Not if the filling of the dumpling is still crappy like chicken nuggets.
Whys he in the lab in the dark 💀
Gibblets and bones are the most savory part of the chicken. So I have no problem eating pink slime.
we can taste with our mouth for the nugget, fish ball, burger, etc. that have very less meat. been so long i suspect all these have only 10-20% of meat.
I too dislike carrots. So I make japanese curry with diced carrots to not only mask the taste but to trick my own brain. So I can imagine blending a veggie tomato sauce to trick kids to eating it.
So what with chicken liver? It's quite popular in Indonesia, also it tastes not bad actually.
One day we will have a vege nugget that taste like chicken. Scientists already working on replacement using vege while having the same textures and taste, likewise nutrients. Of course, it can never fully replace meat, specifically dishes that is made from whole meat instead of minced meat. Still, replacing most of the meats will significantly reduce the carbon footprint.
Im literally eating nugget and they show this video
In our household, the only chicken part that we don't eat is the head and gall bladder. So I dunno what the fuss about what part they use for chicken nugget.
Huge fail to not state which brand it was
Isn't impossible foods and beyond meat ultra processed?
