"(The World Don't Need) Another Lover," recorded by UK pop duo Giant Steps, was a top 20 hit in the US. It hit number 13 pop and also peaked at number 13 on the Singles Sales chart, number 12 on the Hot 100 Airplay chart, and number 25 on the Adult Contemporary chart. After recording one album, the group would later disband in 1990.
