"WHAT? Im ejected after basically hitting the other player in the back of the head AND THEN stepping on her head?"
I'm surprised no one punched her in the face LOL
That’s what I’m saying. It should have been right over to her and 💥 🤛🏾
Her teammate tried but coach and them heels is fast asf 😂
mannn they would have to catch me outside fr she knew what she was doin
I know right. She needs to be tossed from the league. That’s disgusting
Yea she looked genuinely shocked .that's like committing murder and being shocked when you get convicted
I love how she was surprised she was ejected. Abusers never see faults in their actions.
Don't step on her head and you won't be ejected fr9m the game
@@Carl-lo5fewe know that lol
What do you REALLY expect from these non humans?
no, she's aware and acting
Should be suspended for the season.
Not only should that player be ejected, but removed from the team. There has to be discipline standards. You can’t just go around stepping on people’s heads. And there’s no doubt it was intentional.
Thank you
Players would fall just to pick their foot off of someone
They didn’t meant to step on
She dirty as hell
And that’s a day I’m waiting for in the parking lot after the game boo
I don't watch basketball but the video got my attention and u can clearly see that Bully stomped that young ladies head. She should not be allowed to play any sport for the remainder of her school year. Hoping that the young lady is ok.
She stepped over the head, clearly not on purpose. See the 3rd camera angle.
Who’s the football player that did that to a cowboys player? This reminds me of that a lot
amen
Props to the coach who held back a player, while in heels.
damn assistant coach was holding her back in heels 😂👏🏼
I was wondering what that thing was.
Haha I saw that & laughed as well. That's a big woman on some tall heels!
@@stufly20 😅😊love to you ll🎉love
That's one strong woman
@@user-gj6lm9zv9s she looked like Steven Adams handling people out there.
Watched Garnder-Webb against my Lady Utes last week and was impressed how they helped up every single player that fell during the game, regardless of team. Shocking that sportsmanship is considered rare these days.
0:28 i just couldn't help but laugh when girl had to stop to fix her heel 💀💀
the only thing worse than a player acting like this is watching the coach do literally nothing about it. I coach softball and if one of my girls purposely stepped on an appointments head it would take about 1 second for me to grab her pull her into the dugout and tell her to get her stuff and leave. There’s gotta be zero tolerance for stuff like that…
We need more coaches like you.👍🏾
I don't think at the time, that High Point HC or Assistants could see what their player actually did, from the other side of the court. After the game, she problably was disciplined by the coaching staff, and university!
@James Byrd so you think it was intentional?
@@will-i-am386 I don't know if it was or not. I'm just saying you can't fault the coach for non-dicsiplinary actions, when they themselves doesn't know what happened.
It is most likely on purpose, if she wasn’t, she was limping or even falling trying to avoid that right step on head with the momentum, But she’s just keep it going with the momentum eventho she knows there’s someone lying on the groung and she the one who make that happened.
That wasn’t a step, that was a stomp!
That was a BRUSH, you DOPE!!!
@@traybern Watch where you step. Unless you have some sort of mental deficiency in body motor functions, you are responsible for your own actions.

Scholarship pulled, expulsion appropriate. The Presidents of both colleges need to have a talk with their ADs.
Her teammates did what they were supposed to do.
Yup
Oh yeah it wouldn't have been on so fast
@Terry Hall jr goofy
@Terry Hall jr you clearly never played a competitive sport at a level higher than peewee
They didn't do anything. First girl ran up and got mushed and fell back
The face she made when she heard she was being ejected tells me she knew what she did.
Exactly!!! The same face my 8-year-old makes when she lies...‼️🥴🥴🤣
It makes you wonder who taught her that.
Simmons was upset at the call. I would be too. The step on the head was an accident.

I'm guessing a light suspension if anything.
I hope I'm wrong.
She has privilege it will be light
It was an accident yes 🙄
@@robdawson5835 no it wasn’t she had literally an entire court to step somewhere else and she looks down to find the edge of her head and never reacts to it like it was an accident
This is the most womens baseball I’ve ever watched.
Gotta love when players do something awful and then get their hand shook by teammates when they leave the court
Don't act shocked. You stepped straight down when you obviously was going forward with momentum.
And knew someone was on the floor nearby
She knows damn well what she did smh
@@sittinonthegodamcornerdoindope ->Sorry, but looked accidental.
That's exactly what I saw. Her gait should definitely been further forward with her forward momentum but actually had to shorten her stride to make the contact she did. Shame how quickly you can forget your opponent or opposition is an actual human being.
@@Greghh1960 ....HUH??
The lady that held back a player in heels is mad impressive
Such sportsmanship from the girls!
SHE CLEARLY STOMMPED HER FOOT DOWN. HOW SAD OF A PERSON TO WANT TO INJUR SOMEONE LIKE THAT. KARMA.
Born and raised in High Point and I’ll speak for most of us when I say we dislike HPU. Her attitude and the fact she was shocked after stomping someone’s head perfectly displays the entitled student body.
Why she play for y’all then
@@dareonallen9574 I mean it’s an opportunity to play collegiate basketball and get a degree I can’t blame her for playing for them but I’m just saying HPU is full of entitled people and the fact she would stomp on another players head then the look of shock on her face when she get ejected doesn’t sit right with me.
I honestly REALLY DON'T think it was On PURPOSE..
This is way... She fell under Simmon's legs, before Simmon's right foot even made it down to the floor.. Simmon's was slightly stumbling trying to make it over her head... as we can see Simmon's almost missed, but accidentally stepped on the tip of the players head on her ponytail.. SHE ABSOLUTELY DID NOT STOMP ON HER HEAD...
SHE DIDN'T EVEN DO IT AGGRESSIVELY.. IF SHE WAS BEING STANK SHE WHO HAVE KICKED & SHE DID NOT... SIMMON'S FOOT LITERALLY JUST LANDED IN A BAD SPOT GOING DOWN.. WHICH WAS UNFORTUNATELY WAS THE OTHER PLAYERS TOP HEAD PONYTAIL AREA..
I WATCHED IT A TON OF TIMES ZOOMED IN... IT HAPPENED SO FAST... Y'ALL ARE REALLY ON HERE ACTING LIKE SIMMON'S WAS BEING MALICIOUS... AND IF THAT SAME MISSTEP HAS NEVER HAPPENED ON THE COURT..
IF Y'ALL LOOK... SIMMON'S WALKED OFF THE COURT VERY CASUALLY,
HER BACK WAS TURNED AWAY.. SHE DIDN'T EVEN SEE THE OTHER PLAYER PULLING UP ON HER.. SHE ONLY TURNED AROUND WHEN SHE DID.. BECAUSE IT GOT LOUDER.. SO, NATURALLY SHE TURNED AROUND...
THAT'S WHY SHE WAS SHOCKED OVER BEING REMOVED FROM THE GAME.
@@INDIGO.GODDESS_573 have you ever been walking and stepped on something but kinda pulled your foot back up because you didn't wanna break or hurt whatever it was? Well she didn't do that. She was looking down at her while she did it. Just her momentum alone would've gotten her over but she chose to land on her head.
@@INDIGO.GODDESS_573 no I still can’t co-sign off on this idea because there’s been times I was jumping off the rim with players laying under me and still didn’t “accidentally” step on or over them. She knew exactly what she was doing because they were down by so much. There’s no excuse for this behavior
Number 12 lost it for her girl!! Damn! Everybody needs a teammate/friend like that in life. Don't start no mess!
**then proceeded to get muffed...but yes I love the fight for her teammate

Situations like this has to have a bigger consequence. Ejection isn’t enough, especially when the game is basically over. They’re down by 20 with 2min to go. NCAA should review this and also revise the punishments and penalties.
Correct. That was potentially lethal idiocy.
This was a sports event of kids--no non-psychopathic reason for that back-stomp from an athletic leg.
Stomper needs psych eval.
Agreed. should be a game suspension
Agree.
@@sirwadsontoast5928 Uh, just so you know, "head stomping" can be a felony....and can even be considered "attempted murder". That's exactly what that was...she knew damn well her foot was coming down on her head.
To me that's "off the team" territory....and someone better warn her about doing that again, as a person defending the person she just stomped might greet her with an elbow to the face.
She's lucky to still be on the team.
we need a lot more of this if women's basketball is going to be fun to watch.
Finally, we have a valid reason to watch women's basketball. Smart move on their part.
so youre telling me she “didnt intentionally” step on that girls head when her first foot completely missed that girls body?! and then her teammates, who are headed to break up the scuffle and werent looking down, could completely walk past her 🙄

As Bobby Knight said: all fouls are intentional. To the head of a defenseless victim gets an ejection. Go sit in the LR and think about what you just did.
Bout the same as that hood rat. Knight never stomped on anyone’s head
@NVMVNV…..Hey strawman, what Bobby knight did is irrelevant to this incident. He’s 15 years removed from coaching and over twenty years from the incident that got him fired from IU. Next you’ll tell me that things that happened 200 years ago are relevant today. Spoiler alert…they’re not.

That look on her face as she got ejected told the whole story. Guilty.
She stepped on her head. Oh my goodness!! 😮
I don't know what the coaches are teaching these kids. As a coach you have to hold your own team accountable! This type of behavior doesn't fall out of the sky. Respect and accountability should be paramount.
As Simmons should be, she knows exactly what she did to that young lady. That's why she reacted to that other young lady's teammates so quickly smh

If NCAA is truly concerned bout player concussions then set the example by that player being removed from playing another college game. Women's BB this season has become WWE/AEW style of play.
So ruin her college career because of one incident? Cancel culture. It’s sports, if you don’t want to get hurt play chess.

At first I thought it was an accident. When they did the closeup at the end you could tell she intentionally used force stomping on her head.
This is the longest I've ever watched woman's basketball. Js
For anyone thinking this wasn't on purpose: Watch 0:56 at 0.25 speed. You can see Simmons has her balance and could have stepped forward or left for the most unobstructed path to the ball. But for no logical reason she chooses to go right and deliberately walk over the girl laying on the floor. Watch 1:05 at 0.25 speed and you can clearly see Simmons looking down at the other girl while she steps on her head.
This is no different than the (former) Michigan State football player swinging the helmet at the defenseless Michigan in the tunnel chaos. If I was the Gardner-Webb girl, I'd press charges.
If women's basketball was always this entertaining more people would watch it!😂😂
Hard to believe what a non violent game like basketball 🏀 has progressed too.
