Fun to watch the process. I think with the new 5 inch hub coming I am finally going to do my first deep dive refresh away from an all stock GT. That hub with these rails looks like the perfect GT build!

Finally a GT drop top
I've bought pretty much everything to do with the onewheel gt from your store. My only complaint so far is the lack of tools to come with some of the parts. I got my board deconstructed all the way down to where I need a tp45+ and don't have one. With a 450 price tag I'd imagine there would be some room to include the tools you might need
they have a tool kit for sale that includes both a ip45 bit and i think it has the large key as well.
I feel like jeff is so into classic stuff he probably only does missionary 😂😅

should mention that the boards level needs recalibration after the swap. FixMyPEV has videos on how to do it

We noticed the tapped holes under the front bumper. Gt bangs coming?
Add dielectric grease to the xt60 connectors mine never came loose but it started powering off because fretting caused a layer of oxidation to form.
Sick!! Now I just need a GT! And WTF rails!…. Xr4L

I have a pint x and I just put the standard wtf on it and the board doesn’t feel as responsive, is that normal or do u think that I didn’t plug something back in all the way

If you have a shorter cable . I bought the 1/2 Lowering blocks . But my cable was 2 short on my gt . Had to return them. Will I have the same issue if I want to put different rails on ??

I’m getting errors trying to recalibrate/level my board after the WTF install. Looks like Cassiopeia 6132 won’t allow for it on OW Dig Tilt app or the nRF Connect app. Are there any workarounds for this?

Will WTF rails still work on the new GTS with haptic buzz? I read that Future Motion has gotten all "Apple Computers" with their customization and that the board cannot be electronically leveled anymore. Thoughts?

I have heard about a few boobytraps from future motion. Like unplugging certain things locks it out and you have to send it in. Any truth to that? This video you guys were unplugging a lot of things. Got the standard WTF rails for my GT and just really don’t want to brick the thing by doing something FM gets mad about…
Do you know if the pintx wtf rails has the same issue with not having enough length on the pwr cable ? I just got a set of WTF rails but I didn't get the extra attachment and was wondering if I needed it.
Still might get it for the added safety but ended to know of you guys knew if the pintx had this issue as well ? Have a great weekend

They are good for trails even steep ones. Gives the tail and front more clearance.

Re 18:40 if I’m “one of those peoples” whose motor to control box cable doesn’t quite reach far enough to engage the lock ring. Can I rely on just the Float Life Cable retaining clip alone?

Wait a second.. why can't you take the one side off and instead of taking motor ect out, just put the new rail on and do it one side at a time? Or is there a difference in size from the stock rail to the wtf?

I got my WTF Rails installed, everything looks great. All has worked well for about 200 miles now, but my GT now suddenly turns off mid-ride around 17mph. First I thought it was me, but it just happened again another 50 miles later. It's like it just brakes and completely tosses me on my face. All connections look great. When I pick myself back up and inspect the board, it's already shut off on its own. Any ideas what it could be?
Sounds like a controller malfunction. We have had a few to do this. Check the XT 60 in the controller and if that one's secure, check the XT 60 in the battery compartment
@@TheFloatLife thank you for the reply. I will check that out. It’s now happening much more frequent, can’t go just a few feet without it turning off even at low speed. I couldn’t even get the board to turn back on at one point.
The long cable running from the battery to the control box was quite tight. I had to loosen the lock ring like you suggested and pull some slack back out just to get it to reach with the WTF’s. I wonder if there is too much tension on the cable happening since everything was fine before the install?

mainly lower the COG for better stability

That looks like a Floatwheel fender. WTF??
Nah, the floatwheel fender looks like the original Drop Top fender that we made years ago. FM threatened to sue us over it so there aren't many in the world unfortunately

IIrc The Float Life does take ship-ins. Since they're based in Sacramento, not everyone is close to there, two other options are MOBSHOP in Littleton, Colorado or One Stop Board Shop in NJ.

Hi! I JUST put my WTFs on my Pint: and Nope the stock fender does NOT fit - it's designed straight to go on straight rails - wish I would have remembered that LOL Guess I know what upgrade's comin next!
