So great to see the ballistic calculator working so well. Getting the parameters set with the correct info is essential to its accuracy and usually also needs a little tweaking to be hitting the mark precisely. Here in the UK, the scope that is going to be a level up from the Commander NV400 (it will cost around 30% more) is the HikMicro Alpex 4K LRF A50EL Day Night Optical Scope which is due to hit the market any day now. It sure would be good if you could get hold of one to review as IMHO it will be the best day/night digital scope for 2024. As always, you've done an excellent video, keep up the good work!👍👍👍

The new 007 update seemed to have change my rangefinder flash from a small streak off to the side, to a big flash in the center. Did this happen to you? If so, does this make moving the rangefinder target box near the flash a useless thing now?
Hi Jarrold, I went back and read the updated user manual on the Ballistic Calculator (BC) in the NV400. I believe you are correct if you have the BC turned on because the scope uses the rangefinder to determine the new aim point. With the BC turned off, I think the rangefinder should work as normal. This is what the manual says.... "Short press [Menu Knob] to activate rangefinder and ballistic function, the impact point icon [Green X with Red Dot] appears on the screen. Align rangefinder cursor on the target, the impact point icon [X] will move towards up and down, left and right according to ballistic parameters and actual range. After clarifying the target location, short press [Menu Knob] to lock the impact point icon [X] and turn off the rangefinder."
