Just got my Model Y Performance and it's awesome. Your videos were one of the inspirations for me to finally take the leap from a Porsche Macan S into the world of EVs. Loving the experience so far!

At 34:00 you were right about putting your final stop then adding stops inbetween, I think the problem was that you said you were going to Pismo with a stop in Paso Robles, you should have said you were going to Paso with a stop in pismo
When you add stops you are saying you want to go to those places before your final destination

37:44 it initially set to 80% but you can adjust in car/app to a higher %. Not sure if that location had the new charges after 90% though
You can see it on the screen just before this timestamp

Pretty sure these locations weren't the new ones.

Hi Lee. 1 mile is approximately 1.6 km. Now back to the vid... A Wall Connector just connects you to a WALL (not very useful) IMO ;-)

I remember my one and only trip in the USA (early 90’s), I was based in Anaheim and took a hire car to mount Palomar and the only time I felt comfortable was on the big highways as you didn’t feel like you were on the wrong side of the road. Back on the side streets you really had to think before turning left or right. Fun times.

I find that as long as there are other cars around then it's not that hard to stay on the "correct" side of the road. It's when there are no cars around that I find I can lose focus and forget which side I am meant to be on.

    FYI, 1km = ~5/8 mile and to convert back it's 1 mile = 8/5 km. Almost 2 to 1, but not quite.
Just prior to that conversation you were talking about paint correction. When I got my Telsa, less than a week ago, I out it in for tinting and ceramic coating and they found the car had been under what looks like a bore water sprinkler and has damaged the clear coat. It's really hard to see but under the right light it's quite noticeable. And if the ceramic coating went on like it is it would bring the damage out and I couldn't get it corrected. The thing is, Tesla don't want anything to do with it because I told them more than 24 hours after I picked it up (3pm on a Friday afternoon) I told them Monday afternoon. I am wearing the cost to get it corrected but I was not impressed with Tesla, they basically said it's my word vs theirs.

Yeah as I was watching this I realised that I got my conversion confused with pounds and kilos which is around 3.3ish to one.
As for your paint story, sorry to hear that it really sucks.

The rear climate control in my M Y senses if there is a rear seat occupant and turns on/off accordingly.

You’re driving a road (101) that I’ve driven so many times! It’s been a couple months since my last trip down there, but LA to SF has some of my favorite places in my very favorite state! I’m lucky I get to live here! Fun!
And thanks for trying to use our antiquated, bizarro units of measure! 😂
I agree, Tesla Bjorn is amazing! Lots of very useful info. (Your channel is fun and informative, too. 👍🏼)

Hey not a car guy. if climate is on auto, and Archie sits in the back - the car automatically turns on the back fans etc. :) Archie is fine. you did not abuse him for a year :)
