- Hey I'm a Huge fan of Electric Light Orchestra since I was a kid.
Congrats to Jeff Lynne, Richard Tandy, Roy Wood and Bev Bevan on their recent induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
This is from back in 1975 on the popular Oz music show Countdown with Molly Meldrum doing the intros. Great times!

I was haunted by this song. Every time I heard the intro I just had to stop what I was doing and listen. It's so moving.

Jeff Lynne's voice is even more perfect and beautiful live than in studio. You can really see and hear his passion in this video.
This is the best version of this song ever.

Thanks for your comment. My answer, Electric Light Orchestra for me. I was growing up to their music throughout the 70's and up until their run of hits ended around 1984. The band's recent induction in the Rock Music Hall of fame is Wonderful News.
I love both these groups, and I would also add Pink Floyd and Queen to this very impressive list!
