I grew up in the 80s. It’s 2020 and I’m 48 years old and I still am listening, still and watching and still am full of sadness. INXS for all their greatness was vastly underrated as a band. Michael was a legit GOD as a frontman with charisma and unrivaled talent. But the band was amazing. U2 is the band that they are always compared to. I love U2 but INXS blew U2 away. This is the last live concert they did. And it sounds better than 20 years previously. “Don’t Change” has a special place in my heart. Thank you for posting this. It brought back so many amazing memories. RIP Michael... you are still missed every single day
@Matthew Stoodley To be fair, U2 had more time to work with. I'd bet that if Hutchence had lived, INXS would have had a bit of resurgence like U2 did with 'All That You can't Leave Behind'.... U2 to is a funny group. For the most part, when U2 decides to experiment (except Achtung baby) They release things that nobody really likes... IMO their latest album was pretty horrible. "Get on your boots!" Ouch..... Saying that though! You watch... U2 always comes out with a damn Super album right when you think they are on the way out.
I was sad to hear that Michael died so young and too soon. He was talented, and it was tragic. While I always love U2, its just a shame that INXS did not continue in music and have a long career the way U2 did. AS we still look upon the 80s with great fondness and the album KICK was amazing. Stuck in a Moment You can get out of is dedicated to Michael. Wish you where here mate...along with your lovely girlfriend Paula Yates...
Creo que es el único vocalista en el mundo que hasta en sus ultimos días de vida; con depresión, problemas, penas, drogas, alcohol etc terminaba siempre brindandote el mejor concierto de tu vida.
A truly great band, up there with the very best. Who had a talented & charismatic frontman in Michael Hutchence. Tragically taken so soon at a young age. Heartbreaking just thinking about it, even now. RIP Michael.
Been a fan since maybe 1982....such an amazing band, saw them only once unfortunately but was blown away. 56 yrs old and still listening to them....their music is timeless.

So charismatic, so sexy, so brilliant, ... So unaware of his own value. So underrated indeed, firstly by himself. Bono says he doubted his own voice... Terrible and sad. Here he is so mature and full as an artist, but inwardly so wasted... And not elegantly... RIP king of frontmen
Andrew was the wizard behind INXS, writing songs, developing sounds, piano, guitar & Harmonica! Sure Michael was the front of the band and amazin, but let's not forget his bandmates. Hard to believe this was the last tour. I saw the stop on Rosie's show while in the States. It's also on YT.

I remember hearing them and seeing them for the first time in the early eighties. As soon as I did, they instantly became my favorite band. They still are in 2022! 🌟 ✌🏻
These six men really captured lightning in a bottle. They were very very special together. The first time I saw them perform live in Aust I was 16, it was 1984, and even as young men they were already very polished musicians. They only improved with maturity, as this footage proves. Honestly, this was both wonderful and a bit painful to watch. I miss Michael.
Yeah, when they are all (except Michael) have 3 instruments hanging on them=talent. And mike didn't need an instrument... His voice was 12 instruments.

Such a beautiful, beautiful man. I know exactly what you mean about watching this knowing what he was going through. I wondered to myself what he must have been thinking as he sang these songs...
I think he knew towards the end of '97 how old he was getting, that INXS's career was on a downward trend after their U.S. tour and that now his girlfriend was going to be forced to live in a different country (with his child) because she wasn't allowed to take her original children to live in Australia. And Australia (and the band members) was all Michael had known his whole life. Moving to live with her elsewhere wasn't an option. And not to mention Michael was a very isolated and introverted person. I think the kind of 'mortality' he was facing all at once was too overwhelming.
Incredible set. Band was on fire. Incredible musicians. All I can say is wow! Thanks for posting. INXS belongs in the USA rock n roll hall of fame period.

In 1993, INXS decided to play a club tour. They had been, for years, the second biggest band in the world (after U2). In Boston, they played the Paradise, capacity less than 1,000. I stood in line for hours when tix went on sale and walked away with two of them. What show they put on! A real treat to see a band that huge in a small venue.

Good Lord this man was beautiful, soulful, sexy (without even trying), so talented and RARE! So, so Rare! Hard to fathom how he was gone so soon after this. He was still so young and full of energy. Truly a gift from above! Will always love Michael! Will always love INXS! Searching is one of my favorite songs. Michael sings this song from the depths of his soul.
I was lucky enough to see them in concert. Everybody enjoyed the show. They brought the house down! I think they were all very charismatic and really good performers.
So much was made of his looks, charisma, stage presence, etc. Not enough was made of his amazing singing voice. He possessed the most wide-ranging style of singing that I can recall. He could sing a ballad, a dance-pop song, smooth R&B, or a raw rock song and never sound out of place.
This is just why he rises head and shoulders above all the others, and why we miss him!!! When do you you ever get this kind of music talent, forget about his stunning looks!
Spot on ! I kind of get a little annoyed when people objectify Michael and not fully respect the phenomenal voice he had. I can’t say I have ever heard him sing terribly or out of tune. Such a massive talent lost.
I don’t think you can beat Freddie Mercury and Michael Hutchence for pure perfect live vocals...they’re both so powerful and spot on. Where’s 22 years gone? 😔
Michael Hutchence brought happiness to so many. Hutchence was put on anti depressants for his head injury which mixed badly with alcohol and cocaine which also contributed to his death, yet the Doctor or pharmaceutical company wasn't held responsible or the cab driver who pushed him and caused the head injury. Hutchence deserved so much better in life..

What a talent. Such a huge loss in the music world.

Never Tear Us Apart was played at his funeral. I love that song and it tore me up 🥺 😭
2021 and I'm diving back into INXS. Still a great band. They just always hit on all cylinders. Miss you all!

These guys were AWESOME! Very distinctive style, great musicians and a legendary frontman. There's not a band today that can touch them. Thanks for the upload!
So wonderful
Great band. He sounded amazing live. RIP brother
must bee up there with the stars that *rock*
What a band! What a voice!
65 years old and listen to INXS whenever I can. Music was real back in 1990’s.
This band was so far ahead of the rest in every way im just happy I had the opportunity to see them live.

The man MEMORIZES ME!!!
This band behind him was outstanding so tight,Michael was such a talent gone to soon but he left us with a great catalog.
Michael Hutchence - a rock star ⭐️ legend for all time
Thank You God for youtube so I can still see this
Qué banda Excelente!!! Michael qué joven bello, talento, voz y presencia. Qué pena su partida. Por siempre INXS.❤❤❤
I was lucky enough to see them in concert. Everybody enjoyed the show. They brought the house down! I think they were all very charismatic and really good performers.
Yes, they were all very charismatic!!! Rare in any band.
The music world and life is not the same since Michael left us. Such a voice, so sexy and talented. 💜INXS
It is hard to believe that he was singing in Aspen, CO. 24 years ago! Time goes by quickly!
2020? TOP BAND THEN NOW & FOREVER..🕺🎸❤I Miss Michael.
2022: I JUST HAD TO VISIT AGAIN 🚶♂️🎸🤍🎧
2023:WHO'S STILL ENJOYING?🚶♂️💙
The sexiest man to ever grace this planet! That would be Michael❤
My wife surely agrees with you…
So much was made of his looks, charisma, stage presence, etc. Not enough was made of his amazing singing voice. He possessed the most wide-ranging style of singing that I can recall. He could sing a ballad, a dance-pop song, smooth R&B, or a raw rock song and never sound out of place.
True!
He was a very talented singer nobody can replace him ever
Absolutely he could sing in lots of ranges he's amazing love him🥰 💋💋💋💖💞💞😍👏👏💗💗💗
I don’t think you can beat Freddie Mercury and Michael Hutchence for pure perfect live vocals...they’re both so powerful and spot on. Where’s 22 years gone? 😔
Couldn't agree more TopperSye
I think that very same thought!!!
robert plant et joey tempest aussi
This particular sound guy should have been nixed.
George Michael is not bad either
So sexy, so sensual and so real. Sounds as good as they do in the studio....RIP Michael. Wish you were still with us.
INXS Kicks Ass! Pure and Simple.
One of the best bands that ever existed. INXS created a new benchmark for fans and musicians.
Me vem as lágrimas de vê-los se apresentando com tanto carinho para o público !! talento puro saudades INXS maravilhosos Michael perfeito no palco !!!❤❤❤❤ saudades !!! saudades 😢😢😢😢
I love INXS! This music brings so much memories in my youth! Thank you INXS!
Damn he is sooo sexy! He seems happy at this performance and having a good time. His voice is incredible. Such a shame that he isn’t here.
2023 and inxs is gaining recognicement again, miss you michael ❤
2024 continuero" ad ascoltarli fino alla fine della mia vita - MICHAEL ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😢
