Great list Kyle. I definitely agree with your number 1 pick. I didn't get many of the McFarlane figures but I definitely had to get him. I do wish I could have found that Bane and the MK11 Spawn. I never saw either of them on any shelf locally.
Swamp Thing is tricky as a figure. He is like a Venom figure - he needs to have a lot of accessories or extensions and moving joints or wired plastics to shape for different poses.
But I think the Bane figure is a perfect sculpt. It would be amazing to have his venom tubes light up, but that would cost a lot more to do.
Excellent list, Kyle! I thought McFarlane’s work on the “mega” figures was exceptional, punctuated for me by the Bane, Swamp Thing and despite it not being a large figure, the Aquaman left me highly satisfied. See ya in 2023 🎉

Man. Honestly over on my channel I've reviewed most of these. And I own most of these with the exception of MK Spawn and Frankenstein. These Megafigures are easily some of Todd's best. And I also agree. We shouldve gotten fists with Bane. Also, question. Does your copy of Man-bat suffer from loose joints? Excellent list though.
That Swamp Thing has an incredible sculpt, it’s one of my favorites of the year.
I was the same way with the War Hammer figure soon as i seen it I had to add it to my collection this is my top 10 lost 1.Violator 2.Bane 3.Ninja Spawn 4.killer Croc 5.Bloody Clown 6.warhammer Tyranid Genestealer 7.Necron mega figure 8. Joker Arkham asylum mega figure 9.spawn with thrown 10.swamp thing which I have yet to get but soon I will have it lol
I'm anxious to see McFarlane do tmnt. But at the same time, I kinda want to see a mcfarlane the last ronin.
I don't collect McFarlane figures but love the accessories. Got the Spawn and Thrown for free at Gamestop with my Certificate and it being on discount. Using the Throne for other figures.
Im not a big Mcfarlane guy either but I need that Frankenstein! Have not seen him in the wild.
Great list. I didn't get that Swamp Thing. I already have a couple of big Swamp Thing figures from DC Classics and DC Direct/Collectibles so I passed. But it is a great figure and I might still get one. Also playing the long game on Frankenstein.
10. Grifter - Really cool looking figure and I was surprised they even made him. I also got a couple of those gun packs so he's properly armed
9. Spawn Mortal Kombat - Yep, just a really good Spawn. Could stop right there if you only need one.
8. Aquaman Endless Winter - Good classic long haired Aquaman. Orange paint really pops.
7. Martian Manhunter Target - Don't get enough DC characters in their classic looks and this is a good one.
6. General Zod - Great getting those classic villains and an intimidating armored up Zod.
5. Man-Bat - Awesome looking figure. Yep, just wish it could stand better.
4. Kyle Rayner Target exclusive - This was the Kyle Rayner I really wanted in his original costume. Much better than the Blackest Night version.
3. Deathstroke Defiance Suit - another Target exclusive. Not the classic look and he only wore this costume for a bunch of issues but I love the figure.
2. Bane - Definitely the figure we all wanted.
1. Parallax - A Walmart exclusive. This figure surprised the hell out of me how good it looks in hand. Also one of those McFarlane's that they announced and was in stores the next week.
Man the swamp thing looks cool, specially the one with the antlers. But i really think darkest knight BAF deserved a spot in my top ten 100% 😊

Man the gray swamp thing. Reading Brightest Day all so see is the Black Lantern Swamp Thing or what syarted the green and gray on the DC books currently.
The war hammer guy I could deffinetley see him fighting with Spidey venom or anyone I love it😊😊
Yeah, McFarlane toys look cool and he seems to push them out with the swiftness, BUT they seem loose to me. I mean, the Super7 Turtles have the loose hips, but these figures as a whole feel very loose. But they look cool tho.
I also find it funny that the McFarlane toys come with a base to help them stand. Meanwhile, my NECA and Super7 turtles stand just fine without a base.
The war hammer figure looks like you could pair him up with/against xenomorphs. Or use him as a white martian. Which is a race of aliens that killed Most of Martian manhunter's species.
I enjoyed this video even though the only MacFarlane figures I bought all year were Super Powers and they were disappointing. They lacked the charm of the originals.

Yeah the more it is moved and posed the quicker it needs replaced. I love that stuff tho. I've thrown good figs and parts fodder away due to loose joints but not anymore

@@KylePeterson1980 lol. Maybe we each dislike/like the other for the same reasons. Legends are too formulaic, all the same similar molds, mcfarlane never know what your gonna get. Idk. I Am Baffled Sir.
