Christopher’s voice, my lord. It’s almost sinful that so many people write him off as a short lived “soft rock” has-been. One of the most sincere, affected voices in modern music history. I can’t even describe the melancholic shower of vibes I get the moment I hear “Once in your life you find her, someone who turns your heart around..” This man deserves his flowers ❤
Sadly he was written off, but he proved them wrong. The reason was that people all around the world loved his music, myself being one. God bless him and screw those who doubted him.

I love how the catchy line came about when the boy from Oz was caught in a holding pattern in a jet arriving in NY at night and looked out the window to see the moon. I always thought that CC's body doesn't match his beautiful voice he's a big dude and just doesn't look like his voice. I had the pleasure to meet Dudley here in Tokyo , he gave an improv performance at our gathering was lovely and so talented rest in peace good fellow.

I never realized, probably because I was only 11 at the time, that Christopher Cross is an amazing singer/performer. He just blasted that song out live when most wussies would have canned it with Lip synching. Well done Chris. OH.....And did you hear the Video drome theme song after Cross sings? This song is just specifically for Christopher to sing. There are some songs which you need the original artist to be behind the vocals. Arthur's theme, my no 1 favorite, by far when i first heard Christopher sang it til today, even after about 40 years

Chris is considered a really great, underrated guitarist, too.
Nothing to take away from Chris.... but Dudley is killing it on the piano.
He’s currently touring the US and sounds great at the age of 72. His last record is also amazing.
