I would like the banana recipe. Let me explain, my father was a chef in the 70s, growing up he would always excitedly come home with some new recipe to try. Often they involved gelatin. One day on Christmas Eve he came home bursting with pride to have us try his new dish. It was bananas and ham in hollandaise. I could not believe it. A recipe without gelatin? But he insisted it was delicious. My sister and I cautiously tried and and couldn’t believe the flavor. It was warm! It didn’t jiggle! Salty and sweet at the same time, and most shocking was there was no mayo in it at all. It was the happiest Christmas eve dinner we ever had. Our father died shortly after and never wrote down his famous recipe. Please, pewds, for the nostalgia, send me the bananas ham hollandaise.

Easy hollandaise recipe I found was 3 egg yolks, 2-3 Tbsp cold butter, and about half a juice of a lemon is what I do. Melt the butter on low, and add yolks about halfway through the butter melting, and add the lemon juice. I use a rubber spatula and scrape it altogether. Trick is to take it off the heat, stir, then do it again til it looks well mixed. Then add salt, garlic powder, and pepper. It's what I do..

The sweet smell of banana ham reminds me of my childhood on the farm. After a long day of playing with the pigs, I'd start picking up the scent of mustard with a hidden sweetness and I knew I was in for a treat. In France, we eat flaming bananas which is quite good. You simply heat banana with sugar in a pan and then add alcohol and light it up so all the alcohol burn and make the banana caramelize.
As someone who graduated from chef school i can say that hollandaise sauce is one of the most hardest thing to master for a beginner because even if you really can do one and you do it many times, something can still easily make it bad. The temperature, the intervals of putting the butter into the egg yolk mixture and etc.

Hollandaise sauce is actually insanely good when you make it right. I’m sure that banana and ham isn’t a bad mix, and probably tastes pretty fire with good hollandaise. Fried plantains instead of bananas would make the shit smack for sure.
Hollandaise isn't too hard to make but you kinda need to do it a few times before you get it right. It's pretty good with eggs or if you put crab on your steak and pour that on it its pretty good too.

In France, we eat flaming bananas which is quite good. You simply heat banana with sugar in a pan and then add alcohol and light it up so all the alcohol burn and make the banana caramelize.

As someone who graduated from chef school i can say that hollandaise sauce is one of the most hardest thing to master for a beginner because even if you really can do one and you do it many times, something can still easily make it bad. The temperature, the intervals of putting the butter into the egg yolk mixture and etc.

Hollandaise sauce is actually insanely good when you make it right. I’m sure that banana and ham isn’t a bad mix, and probably tastes pretty fire with good hollandaise. Fried plantains instead of bananas would make the shit smack for sure.

Hollandaise isn't too hard to make but you kinda need to do it a few times before you get it right. It's pretty good with eggs or if you put crab on your steak and pour that on it its pretty good too.
for the taste, u couldve putten some cheese into it and later garnish it with some flakey salt and rosemary on top

I would really like to receive this "cursed recipe", as it combines all the food I like as a vegetarian.
