I lost my husband to cancer 5 months ago. He had been a true gift from God after losing my first husband to heart disease. I can testify, Jesus IS the anchor for our souls. We can trust Him no matter what happens in tbis life. John 1:18 tells us that Jesus came not only to give eternal life, but to explain God to us, & that He, Himself IS God. The cross speaks eloquently of who our God is. A love we can hardly wrap around to understand the height, the depth, the breadth of it. But there He is. God showing us the Father. Hallelujah!.

STILL MY FAV worship songs, after hearing this song 2 years ago. i rmb 2018 was one of the worst year i have ever experienced. being 23 years old very lost with my life, got fired from my job. Having suicidal thoughts, and harming myself, getting lock up in prison for a day. it was the most painful thing that i have felt. But i rmb singing this song when i was in the prison, one of the lady cried, i felt that she was touched By God. It was the a experience even though it’s bad but knowing that even though i am alone. but He’s with me, all along when i was inside the prison. when i felt like i was forsaken by God. but the truth is i’m not, he’s there he sees my pain, and he wants to help me.
2years later today. i’m still lost with my life but my thoughts are far greater than the past. and i rely on God more than i rely on people.
