I really appreciate a build guide for level 100, without frills.
Most guides kind of assume the watcher is level 600 withal the gear they could ever want. So having a good set place to aim for while in progress is valuable.

Definitely make sure you're enjoying yourself more than anything. Use whatever build you want and just go with it, or experiment with new ones. I've played for years and still learn new things and that's what makes the game so great for me.
However, for a sneak build, a rifle is probably going to be most effective. At least it has been for me personally, if you want some advice lol

Hey! I really like your videos and appreciate you sharing. I'm going for a commando build of sorts. I'm a huge fan of the Handmade and the combat rifles. Is it best to decide to go with either an auto or non-auto commando build? Or is it better to hybrid the commando with a combination of semi auto and auto rifles? Finally got the pepper-shaker plans yesterday! I was initially going for a shotgun rifleman build, but decided to drop the shotgun angle and reallocate perk points to do more rifle damage
Yoooo I was on your team the other day! I’ve been using a full health build and I love it. I hate how useless Juggernaut is for it though, they really need to increase the damage bonus for it.
Pro tip for end game:
Everyone will have their own opinion on what they think is the best or worst build etc. I have tried all types of builds, my main is level 3,000+. The best overall end game build is a bloodied PA build. Invest in a power armor build as early as you can and stack as many dmg resistance legendary rolls as you can on each piece too. Once that’s finished, start to invest in bloodied. You will do disgusting damage and also be REALLY tanky. This is what I use and even while ads are attacking me, I can literally stand face to face with a SBQ while that’s attacking me as well and solo it.

I freaking love my power armor bloodied build , been rocking it for about 50 levels ( around 130 now ) and is there a way to get more damage on guns besides removing the bloodied effect ?
Sure if they wanna feel heavy every time they move pa is cool but slow even with emergency protocol
@@anti-insomnia8314 I'm with you, I like the idea of power armor way more than I like the actual application of it in game. Slow to get in and out of, which wouldn't be an issue except you can't do anything at your camp crafting wise without leaving it, can't sleep for well rested, all you can do is attack, vendor and scrap stuff. Glitchy as hell, and fusion cores are annoying to deal with, even if easy.
Good informative vid. The hard thing is getting all the correct cards if you ask me.

Around the 5 minute mark I realized your background music was really familiar to me, but I'm unsure about what's playing. What's the name of the song?
I got a power armor by wandering into an event, I found lvl15 pieces for it in a little arena by pleasant valley cabins. I was in full raider power armor before 20 and even found pieces for my lvl45 t60 while farming my armor. There's several locations they spawn. Server hop to refresh the area
Which is worse than just getting the Excavator..
Shot gun carried me through the whole game. Lvl 62 and I just started messing with new builds. Cold snap is a must use early on
Same I started recently cold shoulder carried until I made a heavy gunner build.
Thanks for the video :) is there lower damage adding buff foods in the game that are easier to get for canivore mutation? there is one i found but it involves you into going through so many locations to be even ready to craft the buff and since foods you craft spoil fast I just want something that compliments the damage I do even if its not much

Congratulations on the 10k subs mate! I should've have subbed months ago when i first started playing 76. Definitely going to try the commando build as that is my preferred play style. Quick question though, the gun you are using it shows as a skin in the shop or is it an actual gun? Love your work mate!

Hey sorry for the late comment, do you still recommend putting brawling on your arms for the melee build? It says unarmed damage and typically unarmed is a separate thing but similar thing to melee. am I just mistaken about it in this game?
@10:56 can confirm, when I was with 1 much higher level and 2 much lower level (sub 50) players, my Commando at the levels of this video, could not kill the Scorchbeast Queen in 30 minutes and she kept flying away. I also ran out of ammunition.
Nobody showed up on the server, the higher level guy launched the nuke, I and the 2 others showed up. I’ve seen that with Earle too late night.
You are right, with time, a Bloodied Sneak Critical Commando can kill ANYTHING pretty quickly.
WOW, I had NO idea that the game had sooo much to depth when it comes to playstyle choices!! I thought that now that I had a Fixer and a Railway around level 40 I just had to look for mods. I dont even have good armour, definitely not under armour! So many more quests I need to look into now!!
just got into fallout 76, can't believe that being under level 100 is low level! i'm level 33 and thought that was already pretty high level!
level 50 is "max level", because thats when you stop being able to add points to your special.

@@JustinTheAvgGamer Legendary Perk Slots and Cards which start at lvl 50. You can unlock slots at lvl 50, 75, 100, 150 and 300.
Thanks for this guide. I just hit 159 but perhaps I can still use some of these. Have they gotten rid of the Good with Salt card? It’s like, I own it one time, one star. But when I go to the “level up” to pick other cards(in alphabetical order the cards are, more or less) it is no longer there!!?? I even checked the last card in the deck and nothing 😕.
What's the reason behind Brawler on the melee build? Does it boost weapon damage even though it states unarmed?

is there any point in putting the brawling mod on your combat armor for the melee build? it only affects unarmed melee damage, right ? so wouldnt it be better to put something else ?

I have 3 accounts, and two of them are level 200+ just being grouped with my main, standing idle at events I go to. The other 2 accounts STILL have level 30ish basic gear because i just use them as pack mules, and to get XP "if they can". All you need to do is equip the Inspirational charisma perk, join event groups and follow around the big boys for a week. Before you know it youll be one of those big boys able to dish out yours own destruction.
Bro ive scrapped loads of heavy armour chest and legs and never seem to learn the mod for ultra light weight cant find it in others vendors either is there any otherway to get the mod ?

Ok, I see how it's confusing. Sorry about that. So at 3:40 I explain what armor to be using and it goes with the next 2 builds, Melee and Commando. So if you just watch a bit further in the video, it'll show the perks :). Hope this helps and thanks for the nice comment!

Imo the power armor heavy gunner is the most fun of the bunch
For melee, first legend perk, collateral damage or hack and slash is best option?

So the Heavy Gunner build is like the main Frontline gunner while Commando is like the support gunner .Also would the commando build be also good for a grenadier .

Do I use heavy combat armor for commando build?
Super helpful video man, I just recently passed level 150.. I kinda just switch between heavygunner and shotgunner... Finally got my Explosive Gatling Gun however I just noticed that the heavygunner perk cards don't apply to those ☠️
The heavy gunner perk cards DO effect a gatling gun.
@@MrWestTek I am just referring to the ones under strength, like heavy gunner, expert heavy and master heavy gunner.. I think it says it only applies to non explosives..either way let me know. I'm new to fallout and really appreciate your help
@@masdesc1334 equip the weapon with no perk, then check the pip boy weapon card, then add one heavy gunner card and you will see an increase, showing they work. Also since yours is explosive, you can add demo expert under intelligence for some extra damage. The card descriptions are sometimes weird or not really reflective of what they do, but you are fine with your explosive Gatling gun.
I'm lvl 43 and cannot wait to get to at least 50... some of my weapons suck and want to obtain the fixer to help me out better. I keep grinding away to obtain caps. I wish I knew someone who could drop one for me. I've heard happens a lot. I've had some players help with giving me some cores once. Thought that was awesome

I personally would go rifleman instead of commando because you will use far less ammo and you can use the plasma flamer or enclave version against stronger enemies.
I wouldn't. An enclave flamer is hard to find. And with the exception of that weapon, commando is a lot more powerful. I find rifleman very underwhelming 🤷♂️

Is the autoaxe legit better than the duel blade fire chainsaw god roll very high strength max melee cards with 75% armor pen cause it seems like it melts everything faster. Where do you get the autoaxe? Just scrapping saws or? I'm lvl 288 and just wreck everything cause of your videos still stuff to learn tho. Congrats on 10k man
Imo, the auto axe and the chain saw are pretty much the same. I just use the chainsaw personally. You can get the auto axe for 1000 stamps at the whitespring refugee, idk how else. but it'll be quicker to get the chainsaw plus the mods for it probably since you only get stamps from expeditions or the scoreboard and neither of those give you an amount worth discussing. If you have a good chainsaw already then just roll with it, I'd you want something to work for, then grind for the autoaxe. Sorry if this doesn't help you how you'd want
As dub says auto axe is a huge grind with stamps from expeditions, it was previously a free score board reward. Honestly, if you missed out just rock a chainsaw with dual blade and the fire mod. Both are great.
I played early and hit level 30 something. Just started again and am currently 46. I've still been running my old powersledge build that used to truck everything. Looks like they made some badder baddies while I was away lol. I kind of want to swap to heavy gunner for the convenience of not face tanking the ENTIRE fight lol. It is going to be a PITA to get all of the perk cards from scratch except for... 7.

I am level 33 and I really want the heavy armor plans but I went exactly where you said too and I must have logged out and log back in server hopped 8 maybe 10 times and it's never there. I'm wondering has this plan moved? Am I to love level to even have it show up in the list? I don't think so because it can be crafted for level 20.
You may have to be a higher level.
New to 5he game, why would you add brawler if your not going To use unhanded attacks?
Those low level days are the best days of Fallout 76. Soon you'll realize that the only end game is a bloodied unyielding build, otherwise you might just skip most events since you won't be doing much at all with full health builds.

With Herd Mentality, how close range do you have to be to your teamMates, in order to trigger the +3 SPECIAL??? I assumed you have to have at least 1 member of your team within Lunchbox Range of you,
FOR THE LONGEST TIME i used herd mentality on a public team, but ran around SOLO doing my own thing (while still on team) and i was actually getting -2 to all of my SPECIAL bc i was too far awy from da Herd!
The perk checks to see if a player is a member of a team and does not check for teammates. Therefore, the positive effect is applied even when alone on a public team. Even though its description says "When your teammates are nearby" , distance to one's teammates does not matter. It just matters whether you are in a group or not.
I've equipped a mutt of armor. Literally a smorgasbord and I'm ripping it, it was basically by accident but did like 10% health, high rad with The peacemaker, The fixer, tesla rifle, some perks obviously. But ehat ever i did is kickin a$$. Ripping daily opps and moonshine jamboree like nothing

Its a skin from the atomic shop in case you never found out. It doesnt seem commen at all so just keep a lookout

Just do you. Don't worry about other players, especially if you're new. There is a million different ways to play and as long as you're not effecting others negatively, just do it!
its good, but its only works with Fallout 1st, otherwise you cannot carryweigth ammo and you have not space in your trunk. Lvl 3 travel pharmasy and lvl 3 bandolier is a must have.
You can get a backpack mod that does the same as the Pharmacy card, so you can skip that if not doing Power Armor.
What heavy gun are you first using before the plasma thing? Also like what mods n stuff

The Free States vendor at Whitespring sells the heavy combat armor plans

I had a question regarding the tenderizer perk card. I'm not sure if it's working properly. I've tried using it but I never see my damage numbers change.
I know some perk cards haven't been working properly since the last update, however I haven't noticed an issue with tenderizer. Not saying there isn't one, just that I haven't had it yet personally. I use a sneak build with increased damage perks so my number always differ based on what I'm doing
Like my friend said, I think some perks are acting up since the update, but personally I'm not noticing a change.

Just looking for an opinion here from the community. I have the game on both pc and Xbox series S. Would it be worth restarting on pc and abandon my lvl 78 dude on Xbox.
Better frame rate on PC. With that said, if that don't bother you on Xbox it won't hurt to stay on Xbox. I would personally go where your friends are. Console and PC both have advantages over each other. Hope this helps :)

You can always move around you perk points ;).
