Gustav Holst, 'Sing me the men' Op. 43 No. 2 [Excerpt]

An excerpt from Gustav Holst's breathtaking choral work 'Sing me the men', composed 1924-5. The words are by Digby Mackworth Dolben, a poet who died tragically young at the age of 19. Dolben's heavenly vision inspires some of Holst's most passionate and otherworldly choral writing, recalling music from 'The Planets', Op. 32.
