- This was a 57 mile half gravel / canal path half road cycle on gravel bikes on a nice but very fresh Spring day. About 2 hrs each way. We did 57 miles in 4 hrs 15 mins at an average speed of 13.5mph. Here is a Strava link to the ride if that helps.

Nice one TMRS. It’s should be a lovely day for it and it’s a really nice route. Have a good one. I am on Instagram gilly0108. They were working on some of the paths when we did it, hopefully they will have finished the work now though.
Did you cycle the route TMRS and if so how did you enjoy it?
It was good thanks there was seven of us , surprised we managed to fit all at the same time on the canal. Now tempted to the Falkirk to Edinburgh bit, I'm personally doing as 10month challenges 10 for Samaritans. Hoping to do a run if covid allows it some point this summer to Inverness
