  • The 2020 Ford Ranger is a pretty incredible truck, but is it worth the hefty price tag? Let’s dig in and find out!
The 2020 Ford Ranger I have in the video is a Lariat Trim equipped with the FX4 package along with the B&O upgraded sound system and many more options!
I got my hands on this truck as a loaner vehicle while my car was in the shop. My first vehicle I ever had was a 2001 Ford Ranger so I was very excited and anxious to see what the Ford has come up with 20 years later for the Ranger!

Unless you're regularly towing heavy trailers, carrying adults/teens in the back, or need a long bed for work, the Ranger suits the majority of people's truck needs. No need for a massive F150 that's 7 ft wide and 19.5 ft long. This gives you all the utility you need. You can off road, tow 7500 lbs, haul 1600 lbs, and carry a family of 4 comfortably. Not to mention it fits easily in any garage and is narrow enough to navigate a tight city or parking lot confidently.

Someone who wants a truck, but doesn’t want to daily drive a full size. I’m about to trade in my Tundra Pro for one of these bad boys. I work and live in the bay. And it’s tough out here daily driving a half ton.

A base stripped version of the Ranger is $24000, not $39000 like you erroneously stated. The base Lariat starts at that price. You should do a little research before making review videos.
    Other than that, great video!

that compartment you could slide your phone into the spot to charge, got my fx4 XLT with tow package at $36,000 after everything its been a great little truck. especially offroad and towing. 7500lbs is pretty good. not that I've towed something that heavy. center console i usually use as food storage. go to wendys shove the whole bag inside and close. keeps everything nice and warm till you get home. lol one other thing if you buy the last year model its was $10,000 off

Imagine if my mustang broke I probably would have ask if they had any f250 or F150 available 😂😂😂😂

If I ordered a $46K truck and the dealer put that stupid badging on the tailgate, I'd tell him to take his truck and shove it up his arse. What arrogance.

i like it but rear seating is too small for my tall family lol, it would be nice if they had more engine options besides the 2.3

      I agree!

I had a person close to 6ft in my front passenger seat and another one over 6 in the back seat. I asked if he is comfortable as for leg space and he was with some room for his knees. The guy in the front was able to somewhat straighten his leg out. To me if a tall person can't fit then it runs down to how big they are in the mid section. This would be an ideal that all truck companies would need to look at to ensure they find a middle ground of space. Yes the two other gentlemen were skinny per-say.

I got an FX4 2019 STX and it cost $36k. The bigger screen would be nice but not needed.
Leather seats that don't seem like the leather from back in the day and the smell when it's hot....also hot leather to your skin is not that nice. The small back slide window sucks so I don't have it on mine. The wheel wells suck for easy tire upgrade. As for it to be off-road and the power for such is grand. The sensors for 360 is amazing and the mpg is very nice. I would like to do upgrades to mine for the inside like the radio display and mirror fold control but was told it's not possible. Sorry but anything is possible if you just try.

Anything that is on the top end of its kind is going to be way more. Take dodge ram norm 1500 vs the same but Laramie Longhorn.....yea big difference in price

Not worth the money in my opinion. I got my Ford F-150 XLT FX4 for almost 10k less than that.

Try driving that daily in SF or LA. There’s a use for every vehicle. And Not any one vehicle can do it all.

In my company van, I been busted at red lights by these lil 2.3’s! Not sure they’d take my 2.7 in sport mode, but their quick!!!

Just bought one similar to your loaner...sticker was 45k. I think it's worth it, IMHO. Spend the money now and enjoy it before the communist comes and takes over, lol!

How do you like that shitty transmission in the taco? That v6 has no balls. Toyota needs to step it up. They’re living back in 2010.
