    Vauxhall Grandland X 2018 First Generation 2017-2021
Here's the updated step-by-step guide for resetting the service overdue message on a Vauxhall Grandland X (Opel Grandland X) with the check button located on the speedometer:
Step 1: Sit in the driver's seat and close all doors.
Step 2: Locate the "Check" button on the speedometer.
Step 3: Press and hold the "Check" button.
Step 4: While holding the "Check" button, switch on the ignition without starting the engine. The countdown will start.
Step 5: Continue holding the "Check" button until the countdown reaches 0 and the service overdue message is reset.
Step 6: You may see a confirmation message on the dashboard display indicating that the service has been reset.
Step 7: Turn off the ignition and then start the engine to confirm that the service overdue message has been successfully reset.

@@andrewbarton9811 you may need to get the car plugged (diagnostic) in to see where the problem is. It could just be a sensor or something! You can try speaking to trade centre and say to them the light has been on for few weeks now but didn’t think of it much and thought is was the oil service light which is done but can’t reset the light. Sorry won’t be able to help you further.
