- Pipal Pani Tiger was killed by Jim Corbett , Pipal Pani area was very near to Kala Dhungi which was winter home of Jim Corbett , Currently there is Corbett Museum in that house where Jim Corbett Lived in Kala Dhungi or Chhoti Haldwani , Jim Corbett had killed Pipal Pani tiger as he was injured thrice by Gun Shot & Buffalo fight injury , and Jim Corbett was thinking that he will become Man-eater if not killed , but his thinking was not true and Pipalpani Tiger was quite healthy and had no big injuries.

Appreciate your analysis of tigers destroyed by Corbett without concrete evidence that they were man eaters. Kailash Sankhala has critically analyzed this trend that led to elimination of many wonderful normal tigers.

You asked what was that call dog or other animal but that call was of sambhar deer of alarming of tiger in that area and it was not call of monkey
no brother , sambar call is different , it was call like barking deer , but few jungle huts were near by so I thought dog has barked
It was a female samber deer not a male samber deer
If you try to do 100 good things some 10% of them might go wrong due to bad luck, poor judgement and improper execution.
When our Kings and Britishers were killing Tigers by hundreds a year in India, Jim Corbett's a few improper judgement can no way be criticised I believe specially by us who can no way be considered a judge for a great like Jim Corbett who almost dedicated best part of his life killing man eating Tigers and Leopards at the cost of his life and then brought in and implemented the idea of conservation of Tigers in India.
It is like finding fault with Sachin Tendulkar's few mistakes which did cost him his wickets.
If anyone is eligible that could only be Sir Don Bradman and fortunately or unfortunately we don't have a better hunter of man eaters and Leopards neither among the narrators nor among the viewers.

None of us have shot dead a jackal, a wolf or a Hyena even I believe and we are trying to find fault with a person who had so many famous man eater kills which in some cases ran into a few hundred kills per man eater, the Champavat man eater probably being having the highest official record of 436 kills (many more could be off record) and the most cunning and ruthless of them all, the man eater of Rudraprayag.
The God of hunters of man eaters.
That's how I would like to call him.
P.S. By the way I read The Temple Tiger 55 years from now at the age of 8.
It was one of the best books ever read by me out of the several dozen books gifted by my Father to me.
