It's not often you see a player so good it looks like the game is reacting to them instead of the player reacting to the game. Speedrunners often come close, but that was a "Michelangelo painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel" level of skill. The amount of hours you have in this game must be at a ridiculous level. Learned quite a few things from you as well and you've earned a sub.

I just love the idea of Samus losing her suit and then 80 minutes later Black Beak sees her show up with a new suit and full Metroid powers and mopping the floor with him.

@@sabrinakiser3807 Shit I forgot about him, that thing is the only one that gives me a hard time. At least it did beforehand I learned to get the screw attack 1st and use it on the thing.
Tip for escue dash and activate the purple mode then jump into him and it will do a lot of damage

Seeing you absolutely demolish this game is a thing of beauty. Your shine sparks in particular are very impressive. You easily one-shot tricks that took me dozens of tries. This game isn’t just about knowing the tricks, you have to execute them too. Very well done!
Dread mode is basically the game telling you to “just go ham on the enemies”

I'm willing to bet that beating the game on Dread mode would be easier than shinesparking in any direction other than up. Now that's the ultimate Metroid Dread challenge right there, right up there with successfully countering EMMI's multiple consecutive times.

Im excited to try this difficulty... I'm right near the end of my first normal playthrough. I used your guide because I'm older now and don't have a lot of time to play so getting lost was taking the fun out of it. yes, I know that's the point of these games. I've 100% completed every previous Metroid (minus the original) among others like Hollow Knight and Symphony of the Night, yada yada but, well... life happened and I enjoyed following along with a guide this time =)
Castlevania Symphony of the Night is one of my favorite games on the PS4. 👍

Honestly, hard mode was way too easy, they shouldve had an extreme mode or maybe hardcore where when u die ur game is over

This is Dread Mode, so you can't take any hits. At least that's my understanding. The health bar is there but it's basically meaningless.

Just means that Samus’s Power Suit shines even brighter then normal

I really loved the game and I hope for the next game if it happens to be just as good. This was the first time played a Metroid game since the others are on consoles that are hard to get or games on shopping websites that are hard to trust so I used your 100% playthrough to at least get all the collectables I sucked at time The super dash puzzles were the ones that broke me I'm sorry but thank you for the videos that helped me.

Don't compare yourself to these people. They dedicated a lot of time to mastering this game because they can monetize it. If you're playing the game casually it's okay to take it slow
I love it, I saw someone in the direct comment saying.

I have no idea how you do some of the special moves. Have you thought about doing a training video? I'd love to learn how you jump blast into a central control unit to make it drop it's armor in one shot.
I only discovered today that the robot chozo soldiers in Burenia are optional bosses. I completed every main mission requirement and had the way open to Itorash, but I wanted to get 100% of items. During this playthrough I somehow avoided the robot bosses in Burenia through an unintentional circuitous route. I went back through that way, and sure enough, they appeared; though I had wondered if they wouldn’t show since I had already completed everything substantial. When they showed, I may have hit them once or twice but used a power bomb and it annihilated them.

Rookie -> Hello there, I'm new!
Easy -> Take it easy on me.
Normal -> I'm fine, thank you.
Hard -> Time for some pain.
Dread -> Am I sure about this?

11:08 - Okay, just learned that apparently, if the flames themselves have shut off, the lingering flames don't cause damage as they flicker out
Your entire game play is genius but yeah that speed booster part really showed me the level of your intel.. (at high speed you are still able to see what you are doing) freaking genius i say.. and OF COURSE your entire gameplay run through... genius level i say...

yes, you can shoot a charged beam by pressing R while in a Shinespark
When you use the Speedbooster and make parkour, it's really awesome!

how do you manage to shoot quickly while me when I try low know slow because sometimes you shoot very quickly so how do you do?

Holy crap, this mode has been out for a few days and you already finished it in an hour! I don't even want to finish the fight with the last boss because this game frustrates me so much.

Honestly, sequencing breaking is the most fun way to play this, although I do prefer the "legit" sequence breaks, like early grav, early cross, early grapple, etc.
Was this before Adam Skip was found? Or is Adam Skip not viable on Dread mode? I can’t think of a reason, but I feel like you would’ve done it if it was possible lol

Phenomenal run. Question for you though: why did you save at multiple points? And why did you talk to Adam (after getting thr Gravity Suit and before fighting the Golden Robot Chozo soldiers)? I thought skipping save points etc. saved time on the clock but is there something else I don't know about?
Late answer, but all conversations with ADAM are mandatory , the game will lock the doors (both the entrance and the exit) until you talk to them

Hey buddy I have a special technique to kill the cristals things, just shoot your charge beam and then right after, press the X button and use a counter attack.
How do you shoot so fast and also how do you not die. I can barely do normal mode.

This game is just filled with sequence breaks, the majority of which is very easy to exploit to get early items and upgrades.
There were some questionable strategies, like the wall jump technic with free-aim mode but I don't think it's a glitch.

Amazing boss fights, classic and new Wappons and power ups not too linear... what do you want more? I want more! Metroid Dread is not enough for me!! I want a fucking sequel!! Metroid 6 FTW!!!!!!! But please, developers have to take their time! I know MD will surpass 3 million at least wich will set a new franchise record but really Nintendo must take their time!! Story DLC for MD ok if its good one but do not overload it! For the next 2D Metroid i just want a longer game, more and new power ups/ wappons and of course better graphics!! This is a game that has to be exclusive for the Switch Sucessor!! But first give us Metroid Prime 4 exclusive for Switch!!

@@tacheco2443 It was no critics. I just wondered how it would be possible to jump in passages much to early. I am a metroid player since i am a kid and i never was able to do that! Again, i cannot praise Metroid Dread enough! It even put Halo Infinite to Runner Up.
