Aw sis it’s probably by your height.. you’re doing so good thou! 175 lbs?! That’s amazing!
Yep, the BMI
Her doctor is mad
Ya coz she did bypass gastric surgery ...
The BMI chart includes your height. It goes by height and weight.
@@Leo_perro9yea we know
"I'm already so frail and skinny" 😂
I need this sound bite on replay for my life!
You go girl!!!! ❤❤❤
175lbs. That's a whole person. You're doing great!
I can so relate to this!! I lost 100 lbs. Went from size 22 pants to size 10 and i am still obese too.
Same girl same. Size 10 I weigh 165 my doctor said ideal would be 130. I looked at him like ... I'm not trying to be a size 5 here .... I'm just trying to be healthy and a number can't always measure the muscle/ extra skin etc.
Yeah, ain't that wildddd!!! I was a size 20, went to a 10 and was still 175 lbs. I'm one of those people who carry my weight well....course I was in addiction and now I'm clean and went back up to a size 16. As soon as I quit running around, the weight comes back. I'm just to the point where I may be overweight but my blood pressure is good, cholesterol is good, and I'm just like fuck it. Gonna get back in the habit of walking to at least get back to a size 12. I'm happy w that.
But seems like those charts might be a bit outdated.
take in consideration your height, i am 130 lbs at 5 feet 3 inches and im still overweight
The BMI chart is a bunch of crap. I’m sure you’re so much healthier now in every way!
@@RubySinister was a size 10 and went up to 14 after a baby, now back to size 10 and I’m struggling to get any smaller, I barely eat now too. Blood work I’m very healthy and no high blood pressure or blood sugar issues during, before or after my baby. My skinny nurse said it’s because I’m young but I also eat a decent diet and have things I like in moderation for example fun size bags etc.
l
Just keep in mind that the extra skin does add to your weight. You've always looked fabulous! Never let anything or anyone hinder your progress! 🤩
I was thinking the same, maybe she is still waiting to lose a bit more before she does the skin removal surgery.
Her face was always beautiful but not her body
@@user-qo8om3zt3gGIDRUL, SMH
@@user-qo8om3zt3gyou think somebody is gonna take you seriously with a noir pfp? What are you fcking 5yrs old? Stfu buddy😂
I think its the loose skin specially in her lower abdomen that skin can be up to 10 pounds itsfelf
I think once you get the extra skin taken away it’ll take a lot of the “weight” off. You’ve done amazing girl keep going ❤
I can't wait for that to happen. She'll look even better and she'll move more freely with all that extra skin out of the way.
@@mrs.naumankhan2407Facts. Btw had she mentioned removing it?
I wanted to say the same thing but couldn’t word it quite as eloquently or tactfully so I agree here haha
I said the same. I bet that would be about 50 lbs and she’ll be right where she needs to be.
@@HK-fu1bt I agree and I would like to add that they wouldn't take her skin off just yet. Not until it's hanging like a cloth. I think the healing is a lot easier that way.
Sis its not about body standards its, about you being healthy. The Bmi chart doesn't care if you look like a victoria secret model, or look like a normal person. Ps you look amazing. 😊😊😊
It actually is about body standards. Girl yk damn well
yes BIM scales shouldn’t be a thing anymore!! bodybuilders fall into the ‘obese’ section a LOT too which helps people see how inaccurate it is.
Yes girl that’s how it works. You went from morbidly obese to obese. That’s a tremendous improvement for your health.
yea its definitely mainly loose skin (skin weighs a lot) and whatever fat is leftover. im sure she wouldn't be obese if she got all that skin off. probably just slightly overweight since her arms, face, and legs indicate she's not really that big under all that skin
Yes she went from "death in 10 years" to "obese". She made a significant progress but her journey is not finished yet. Nevertheless, she should be extremely proud of herself.
Yes. Thank you, you took the words right outta my mouth
@@sickickick lol no thats not how it works
@@nancy6315 that is LITERALLY how it works. explain your ridiculous reasoning because BMI is based on weight. skin is weight. 6'0 muscle body builders are "obese" because of weight.
she is small underneath what little fat she has and all that extra skin. it IS how it works.
you clearly have no comprehension over what BMI is and what causes someone to be classified as obese or morbidly obese. at ALL. it's funny you wanna sit here and "lol" when its LOL that you clearly don't understand BMI and are showing yourself here to be a huge idiot.
BMI does not diagnose body fat. BMI is weight +height. stop being an idiot.
You look amazing. I’ve been watching you for a while now and your transformation was so drastic. I didn’t even recognize it was you. You are doing great and you look amazing. I hope you reach all of your health goals.
How is She doing great? You mean the Surgery is preventing her from eating.without it she didn't lose an ounce because she never did the work .give it it 3 years. She will stretch her stomach and gaon a big chunk of not all back..see you in 2027..she will be bigger.
she's using ozempic
All this means is to keep going until your BMI is healthy !!! You got 175lbs down that’s amazing!! celebrate every milestone along the way 🎉🎉
That’s great, keep it going and stay healthy in the process. I remember losing thirty pounds and being at 169 and being told I needed to lose more weight, I was sooo happy to see that number and then to be told “you still got ways to go” wasn’t what I wanted to hear but I eventually got there, I did get a little addicted to exercise nowadays I enjoy long walks free weights and trying my best to be healthy and hydrated (hydration is underrated!!!)
175?! That’s awesome! You are such an inspiration and you are so talented I love watching your videos girl!!!
not naturally though
@@thecoolestcat5078some people need a little extra help. There's nothing wrong with that. It's not a big deal. She's doing a great job regardless.
@@Mya-fu7fy yep of course, just clarifying tho as it is not the same. Still very good that she kept going
Girllll.... 175 poundssss???? That's soooo freaking amazing. I'm so proud of you!! ❤
She got a bypass surgery. She put no work into it. Good for her but she didn’t do any work
@@baro012 you still have to maintain a certain lifestyle to get the surgery and keep the weight off.
@@baro012 yeah but she's constantly losing weight even AFTER that surgery. Stop being a hater if you can't appreciate others for their efforts.
@@baro012 you must not know about the surgery then since there’s a lot of work that gets put in before and after to maintain it.
She said she LOST 175 lbs, she didn’t say she IS 175lbs. Depends on her current weight & height … 30 BMI = obese
I had to look at your old videos to see and you were slaying back then there’s nothing you can’t do now 🌹
Lol I feel your pain sis. Even after losing 100 lbs, I'm still obese 😂. But I am more confident and feel more energy now lol.
That’s actually amazing you should be proud of yourself
This brought me back to the physical I had at my new doctor's office after having my daughter. I had already lost 25lbs at that point, bringing my weight to 140. I am an even 5 ft in height so that but my BMI in the obese range.
The part that really pissed me off was when my doctor (who was definitely considered to be obese in his own right) started lecturing me about it while he sat on a stool for 90% of the exam because he couldn't take 10 steps without wheezing.
I had already explained to him the the weight gain was from pregnancy, that I had already started losing that weight, and that I exercised daily, worked a job that required manual labor, plus ate healthy. His reply was "work harder". I told him that he should take his own advice and walked out. Ended up finding a new doctor who helped me realize that part of the reason I was having issues losing the rest of the weight was due to the birth control and the medication I was on for post partum and anxiety.
Oh I’m so sorry:( Some doctors are just assholes..
140lbs at 5ft. is fat. It's just that simple. You're taxing your heart, lungs, bones etc.,.
@@naelyneurkopfen9741you missed the whole point. Smh
I've never in my life liked a male doctor or nurse practitioner. They are so rude and say horrible things like this, one of them sexually assaulted me when I was 16. He was my psychiatrist.
@thiccynikky3805 You're right. They did miss the entire point, but don't even bother trying to explain lol. They have left numerous degrading comments talking about people's weight on here. Funny that they can't even post an actual photo of themselves while talking shit about others, lol.
So proud of you girl. You are an inspiration. I'm sick of outside judgements. You look amazing!!
AHHH you are doing so great I’m so proud of youuu I’ve been following you for maybe a year or over and I been here for the weight loss journey and I’m speechless I’ve never seen someone online have as much determination and confidence as you!! Keep up the great work and don’t forget we are all here to support you!
175lbs???? That’s amazing! I am so happy for you! ❤❤❤
You look amazing!! I hope you didn’t get scolded by your physician rather than a praise like “you’re almost there!” As a nurse I know it’s sucks telling ppl but honestly with how much you’ve lost, a great physician would have cheered you on and acknowledged that you’ve been doing great! So sorry if your physician made you feel like you haven’t done enough 😢. I’ve seen your progress and I think you’re doing amazing! Don’t let anyone’s words, especially a physician make you feel otherwise 💜💜💜
Don’t let it get to you you’re doing great. Keep it up!!!❤️
Girl you rock!!! That is such a huge weight loss!! Pls ignore BMI charts they are so innacurate, especially if you are working out and building muscle. Also you may have a lot of loose skin which can weigh a surprising amount xx
You look amazing girl and I completely agree with you for my height I’m suppose to be around 175 I’m currently 250 when I dropped 50 pounds everyone kept saying I looked sick there is no happy medium as long as you are happy and healthy that’s what matters and you are amazing!
The thing is a drastic change in your diet can make you look unwell, esp if you have some additional skin, bc you’re going from being plump to looking slightly “deflated”, it all evens out in time and with some exercise and yeah… surgery if needed (I sure as hell can’t afford that so I used free weights like my life depended on it and I’ll be the first one to admit my obsession with the gym got out of hand and became unhealthy).
Don’t mind the comments. Keep loosing weight till you’re at a healthy weight you desire!
Whereas I’m only 30lbs overweight still and you can really really see the ugly fat still. People seem surprised when I say only 30. They expected 60-70lbs. I think it’s because I’m short.
I can’t wait to lose the rest of this fat omg.
Everyone that knew me said the same, but new people saw me normal. When you loose so much weight you are going to look so different for people that knew you from before but for knee people that comes into your life you are going to look normal. I guess it’s completely understandable.
It’s about what makes YOU feel amazing and healthy. 😊
Are you 6'3" because 175 is heavy as hell.
Girl you’re glowing right now! Don’t let this discourage you from continuing your weight loss journey though, because girl, we can see the progress! So proud!
Period! Congratulations on your journey doll! You freaking slay it! And we’re all super proud for you!
Good for you for loosing that much. That is the end goal for me is to loose at least that much. I am with you on those BMI charts.
Also, keep up with the weight loss, I know since you have lost 175 lbs you can achieve your end goal as well.
you’re doing so good 175 is incredible!! keep up the good work
Girl
The struggle is real!
You have done amazing things and I’m so proud of you!
You are amazing and beautiful no matter how you show up!
My doctor had the nerve to tell me I’m overweight. I’m 5’1 and 133 lbs. I used to be 115 but I started *lifting weights* a year ago. Didn’t gain fat, just muscle but now I’m “overweight” 🙃 REMEMBER *BMI charts are not the end all be all in body standards!* just think of them as a close suggestion lol 💕
Youre doing great! Just keep up the good work!
“I am already so frail and skinny” 😂😂 I lost it. 175lbs is awesome! You’re doing great sis! and you’re not obese! Keep it up! You got this! ❤❤
175 to lose that’s excellent!!!! Girl, I lost 25 and I’m still over weight! I went from 180 to 155. I’m 5 ft 2 inches. We look good though and feel good too!!!💜🙏🏽😊
Im 5'2" too and when i was 128 which is like the higher end of normal i looked and felt terrible. My ribs between my boobs and my sides stuck out terribly. I felt the best at 145 despite it still being overweight
@@udderlylost1178same im 5 ft and my recommended "healthy" weight is 90-120 and i felt and looked awful when i was 135 so i cant imagine being that small. 150 is much more comfortable even tho its considered to be borderline obese for me
Yup, short people have a lot less room extra weight. In her case, shes tall but shes considered obese because of the total body fat vs her lean mass.
@@Alex-tk7gh well bmi doesn't account for muscle vs fat it just calculates weight and height. that's why body builders are considered to be obese when just looking at their bmis without context. but yeah she still does have some weight to lose to be considered a healthy weight, the extra skin adds weight also. (although I hate the bmi scale bc it's not accurate enough to determine health it's a good tool for just a quick assessment of weight)
@@h4nn4h___short people have such a small range in “normal” weight and its so ridiculous. Im about 5’2 as well and i weigh about 115-120 and i get people telling me to gain weight left and right, and i feel faint all of the time but the bmi chart STILL says im above average/ overweight
Girl take it in a positive way abd bmi charts are a good thing to gave around
Honestly you're already doing much better than most people who attempt to lose weight. Plus humans evolved to store fat and calories because we began as hunter/gatherers. So your body is actively trying to prevent weight loss which would contribute to a lot of people not keeping the weight off. TLDR; You're already doing amazingly impressive weight loss
Im 60 lbs over weight and they tag me as Obese. You are just not morbidly obese anymore. Keep going. Your energy is what shines.
Girl you’re gorgeous!
And 175 pounds?!?
I don’t even have words for how freaking fantastic that is!
You are rocking all of the things! 🩷💕🩷
Girl that bmi chart should be canceled!!! You the shit and look so good!! Let them hater Dr's hate!!😂

You lost a person!!! What an incredible achievement. You really are an inspiration. Those BMI charts are ridiculous. I’ve suffered from anorexia and actually had some charts here in🇦🇺starting I was in the healthy weight range (admittedly just scraping in), even though I wasn’t eating, hair falling out, cardiac issues and problems with my kidney function.
175 lbs is a whole person!!
So proud of you, Girl!! 🥹🫶🏻🥹
You are amazing! Don’t be discouraged. Let’s see that doc do what you have done.
I am so proud of you. And I promise you will continue to get toward your goal. It doesn't happen overnight, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. You're now set into new routines and they will continue to serve you for the rest of your life.
Girl your so pretty don’t let them haters get to you or anything your doing amazing
CheeseAndRice youve lost so much weight i didnt even recognize you! I legit thought it was someone else using you as a voiceover. I 100% agree! BMI charts are BS. If i fell within my "ideal weight" i would look sick. Im so feckin proud of you! Youre doing amazing!
It's all relative, to your height and how much loose skin. Your weight loss, your discipline and determination on getting where you are right now is remarkable. Weight loss, having everything in the body working in a healthy way and feeling strong after all that is what makes your journey successful. Keep on going, stay healthy, stay strong 💪👍👏👏👏
Girl, half that weight could just be loose skin. You do not look obese at all. Keep going, you are doing great❤️
Exactly 💯
Keep going. You are doing amazing!
You’re not lying. I hate the BMI chart. For my height I’m supposed to weigh like 120-135 pounds. When I got down to that weight everyone told me how sick I looked. When I got up to 150 I couldn’t stop getting compliments on how healthy and lively I looked. My skin felt and looked better. My hair was better. It was crazy how much of a difference that 15/20 pounds made. But according to the BMI chart I am considered obese and overweight.
You have made me actually want to lose weight and have motivated me ! Tbh i think you're perfect, and you rock

I was told I was overweight in the WORST of my eating disorder. There are some drs out there that blow my mind how careless they can be.
If you feel healthy, to hell with them 😊 you know your body. ❤
It is not unrealistic body "standards". Its actually for your "physical health". I'm also going through a similar situation here myself. Anyway my point is you did a lot better than most of us here and keep going cause I'm sure you'll reach your goal. also keep in mind that you are amazing the way you are !!❤
No it is unrealistic! for my height they want me to weigh 100 pounds if I weighed that much I would legit look like skin and bones as I used to weigh that much and was told I looked unhealthy.
BMI is not accurate for individuals, only for populations.
I’m not even a fan of her but I feel like she was joking towards the end, like playing up the being in denial and saying “it’s the unrealistic body standards dammit”. I think she’s awarr she’s still considered obese and has ways to go but to lose that much weight and be told you’re still obese is gonna cut deep even if you understand that it’s the truth.
@@Amlycahow tall are you? Under 4’5? Wtf
@@Amlycasometimes I feel like it depends on the frame of the person and even the fat distribution.
If someone has a wider frame then yeah probably that person can be more heavy and still be healthy/not over the recommended (I speak for myself I've always had wider bone structure and I know it's not the same as someone who has a smaller bone structure)

I feel you! I started at about 430 pounds. I got down to about 150. Currently 175. I consider it a win. I had Gastric Bypass surgery in 2007, and skin removal after I reached my goal. I was a size 8 from a size 44 plus in pants and skirts!
I am so proud of you! ❤
Good for you! I'm overweight according to BMI.. muscle is also a huge contributor. You are strong and beautiful!
No not doesn’t
How much of your current “obese” weight js loose skin tho? I know someone who rapidly lost a large amount of weight after surgery like you did and she had 40lbs of loose skin which is why she was still obese even after the weight loss. She needed to have surgery to remove the skin and once it was removed, she was within the healthy weight range. Surgery is the only way to remove loose skin
I never realized skin could weigh that much, holy crap. It just looks so innocuous and jiggly, but that's a whole-ass pitbull your friend got removed.
Man i remember before the pandemic i was exercising and in martial arts and jrotc, and was a size 12 but pandemic hit i gained weight and am now a size 18, however i look back at pictures from when i was a size 12 and i feel like i look thinner now than i did then but i weigh more, and its like its muscle i am weak and have gone to the gym since the pandemic. So honestly just live your life, the BMI scale sucks and losing 175 lbs is amazing and your doing absolutely amazing
I am loving your perspective. You are hilarious chick. Way to keep a positive outlook.
The other day I did one of those BMI chart calculators. It told me that I was .02 into being overweight.
So had I been just a pound or two lighter? I would not have been deemed "overweight".
I kind of agree that there has to be a better system of measurement.
Hey girl, congratulations! Yeah it hurts, but the reward is going to be so much more worth it when youre in healthy range. Those bmi charts are there for a reason. Most people dont like it bc they dont like accountability, but youre already on the right track, and if its a lifestyle change it wont be that much of a difference to keep losing weight. Youre doing great ❤
Those BMI charts are bs because they don't take anything into factor.
As someone who is actively losing weight (35lbs so far, 100 more to go) I don't like BMI charts because they were specifically designed for insurance policies in order to scam people out of more money and NOT for medical use as they have come to be used 😊 BMI charts tell you nothing about your health as people in "healthy" BMI ranges can also be unhealthy - my MIL is at a healthy BMI while I am not, but my blood work is cleaner than hers, she gets winded halfway up the stairs, and she can no longer pick up my 8 yo while I still regularly carry her around when she needs me and I still have work to do. Hell, according to BMI charts, John from Obese2Beast was still obese when he did his physique show, y'know, when he would have been at his leanest. There are better, more accurate ways you track your health, ones that were actually designed and intended to be for medical purposes 😊
@@kastle3646 so you mean to tell me you don't think bmi provides a good basic guideline for where an average persons (exceptions aren't the majority) weight should be for their height? You do know that other negative life styles result in poor health as well right? And age also is a huge factor. But i think that one is obvious. But congratulations for making better life style choices! I hope you're joyful about it 😊
@@kastle3646if you dont like bmi charts you can also do the waist to height ratio. Your waist measurement should be less than half your height. More than that and the fat is impacting negatively on your organs and body.
It has something to do with how much inner fat we're carrying, so in a way you can look skinny and still be obese. Working out and gaining muscle is the right way to go.
BMI doesn't differentiate between fat, muscle, or skin though 🤷🏻♀️
Congratulations!!!! That’s absolutely amazing and also some of that weight is the skin too!

I went from 90-62kg yet my doctor still told me to lose more to be 55kg as it is the perfect BMI, it took me 8 months to lose that and I was 55kg and my doctor told me "it's good and continue these med for the rest of my life" 😢
Losing those weight was impossible it affected my school and entrance exam but my pcod was in control and a lot of my other health problems went away so I went along with the flow.

Aww i know hearing that from your doctor was discouraging 😢 you have made such great progress and we are so proud of you. If his words were said to you with the intention of getting you to your healthiest, then by all means keep up the good work. But if he is just looking at numbers instead of your progress, as well as holding you to unrealistic expectations, it wouldn’t hurt to look into seeing another doc, at least for a second opinion…or is at the very least is a little more sensitive to his patients
Doctors are no friends. Objective physical reality exists.
you got this!! you have gone so far!! keep it up!!
