- Jet2 trip report flying from Mallorca to London Stansted on a Boeing 737 with the Jet2 livery on sunny a hot summer morning.
This was my second flight with Jet2 and, again, it was an amazing experience. This time I could not order one of their amazing pre-ordered breakfast, as they are only available if the plane stays in the UK during the night, but I tried the onboard catering. A great choice as well!
This time we flew on a Boeing 737 equipped with the new Boeing Sky Interior and with the Jet2 main livery.

Flew with jet2 for 1st time march2019,from Manchester to alicante boeing 737,surprised at how good the aircraft and crew were.Could not fault at all,will be frequent flyer with jet 2 best airline flown with out of all others flown with in the past.Well done Jet2.like the Video

I flew with jet 2 last year from Belfast to almeria in Spain and I have to say one of the best flights I ever had and it was quite cheap 👍

Me pasa exactamente lo mismo! El viajar en avión, al menos para mí, no es sólo el montarme en el avión y volar, sino todo el hecho que conlleva, desde que me pongo camino al aeropuerto, todo lo que se hace allí antes del propio embarque... Me encanta disfrutar de toda la experiencia en su conjunto.

Flew with jet2 2018 to benidorm from Manchester,for 1st time,didn't know what to expect,but would highly recommend no problems whatever.Will always fly with jet2 from now on.

Flew the exact same route as you with Jet2, amazing experience, we had scratch cards on our flight which was a very nice touch!!!
Great! We also had the scratch card game, but as I didn't buy any and I didn't record the msg announcing them... I decided to not say anything about them :D

I love Jet2..I've flown with them from GLA,MAN and STN and always had a very pleasant experience both on the ground and onboard..They are very polite and very professional..And i dont know how they do it on their 737s and the same config. of 189 pax is very comfortable..I just wanna try their 757s and the A330s to Tenerife

It was another great experience! Since my first time with them a couple of months ago, I always search for low-fares to fly with them again! :)
I mainly fly on Ryanair or WizzAir. Wizzair being my favourite airline because it was the very first airline I've flown on. Keep up the good work man!

You may remember from your last Jet2 video that I commented on my numerous poor experiences of them but I’m pleased to see that you have had two good experiences with them. I’m flying them on an abnormally cheap flight from Newcastle to Lanzarote next month (£37 one way) so I can see if I think they have improved.

I've seen some really low-prices in some flights to the Canary Islands with them. I think I'm gonna do some nice flights with Jet2 and TUI from the UK his winter! hehe
OnBoardHD - Flight Experience Thanks. Enjoy your flights this winter. Personally I think that TUI Airways is a great choice (I have flown on their 737-800 and 787-9) and they didn’t disappoint on my many short haul flights with them, or on my trip to Jamaica two years ago! They are in my opinion much better than Jet2, the only downside is that the flights are quite expensive with them
@@NewcastleFlyer The TUI B787 is one of my objectives for this winter, but it's not easy to find flights operated by them, basically because the website doesn't say anything about the airplane that is gonna be operating your flight. So the only moment when you can check the plane type is on seat selection, always after buying the ticket. Do you know any way to check it?
OnBoardHD - Flight Experience Sadly with TUI you are in a difficult position. If you want a 787 on a short haul flight then it will definitely be from either Gatwick or Manchester. You can (I think) see the seat map 90 days before departure so if you book a flight less than 3 months before travel you should be able to view a seatmap. If not then you will be able to see after booking. You could book a flight, check the seat map and then cancel the flight or you could book your flight on the phone as they have always been very helpful in my experience
@@NewcastleFlyer Thanks for the info. Definitely, it would be from LGW or MAN. The problem is that one... that I can't check before booking which plane is gonna operate the flight. That's one of the reasons why I didn't fly so much with TUI, even though I really enjoyed it... =/

Well, I flew 3 times with Jet2 already and I always had a good experience. Perhaps, the last one (that I've recorded a few days ago) from Barcelona to Manchester was the worse of those 3 but was nice overall.

It was an amazing new feature by Boeing. By far, better than the new Airbus A320 family cabins :)

I think I may have commented on your last Jet2 video about the annoying cabin announcements, they're all a bit "kids TV" for my liking! But still, I guess they know their market, which seems to be holidaymakers who probably don't fly that often, and it probably works for them. They do seem like a friendly airline though. I do like your videos, although you did miss the opportunity to point out Hayling Island, which is probably more interesting than Havant! 😊. Keep on doing what you do though. 👍
Yep, some other people told me. But as English is not my mother language, I find them normal. Probably a lot easier to understand everything hahah So now I can understand that for natives it sounds like for kids 😅😅
The announcements are meant to sound like that to be welcoming, and calm the passengers down after maybe a stressful trip to the airport, or something like that. Also, I've been on G-JZBK as well, just it had the red Boeing Sky Interior. So I don't know why it had the white lighting here, can someone explain?

G- JZBK I flew home from Benidorm on that in October 2018 but the cabin lights were red. I prefer the red cabin lights it's something different and it suits Jet2.
The red lights was the Boeing Sky Interior. I've been on this same aircraft too, from Stansted - Palma De Mallorca.

Used Jet 2 for the first time this year, thought they were brilliant, but please Jet 2 can you start flying from Bristol, I have to drive to Birmingham from Plymouth to use you.
Haha The problem is that they can't fly from everywhere... that would make them a lot of costs, and could end really bad for them... =(

You just need the registration of the plane that you want to check and then search it on the website "Airfleets". There you'll get not only the age of the plane but also all the owners it had, among other interesting info.

Haha Well, I think it's just practise... I've been doing videos on the channel for more than 4 years, si I've learned how to hold the camera with both hands and anticipate what is going to happen at almost every moment of the flight.

The music is still on an "experimental stage". All data that I get from the videos is that the videos with music perform better than those that dont have it.

I always try to show reality in the most accurate way. However, bear in mind that here, on the video, we are watching a 2h+ flight in 15 minutes, so the announces may seem too long compared with the duration of the video.

Siempre la web de las aerolíneas. Hacerlo desde cualquier otro sitio es añadir intermediarios que van siempre a aumentar el precio, de un modo o de otro. Nadie hace nada gratis ;-)

Used to be runway 05 but the earth shifted on its axis so it had to change to 04

@@OnBoardHD English is my second language too but I think he meant that the announcements on board are too annoying or he thinks that the announcements defors him to buy something. Hope I could help😅

I flew 3 times with Jet2 already and I always had a good experience. Perhaps, the last one (that I've recorded a few days ago) from Barcelona to Manchester was the worse of those 3 but was nice overall.

Gotta love those vapour condensations on the wing during take-off.
Haha They a very nice effect. It happens when the air has a lot of moisture, over the wing the pressure is lower, so the water vapour of the air condensates, forming that "little cloud" over the wing. :)
