I had one time the Mal/IND test alerted me to a real world problem. The center channel of my surround sound system had come unplugged. YMMV.
Meanwhile in the DCS World world, Eagle's JHMCS roll calibration is still fucked😁
BMS definitely a step forward, and maybe more than one. Arrived here after +3000 hours on DCS, now i’m unable to go away.
@@travissgreyGlad to have you with us!
Nice vid as always. I didn't know about the 10 seconds for MIDS, just winging it and hoping L16 loads correctly from DTC.
this is exactly what I needed! thanks!
Thanks Man!!
Great video 😀
1DAY AGO, YEEEEEEEEEEEEAH IM FINALLY UPDATED, many thanks
Would be cool to have a by the book startup, doing the sec and epu checks among others. Thanks nonetheless, great vid
I was just replying to someone about this. I plan on doing one. People are so confused on how to start up because they don't know what they NEED to do to not get in trouble.
@@AviationPlus yes I'm one of the confused ones 😅 for instance I was not sure when to start mids/link16.
@@Jacobruxo This video is what you need to start.
@@AviationPlus sure! It already helped a lot ✌🏻
Super useful! Thank you :)
Followed all the steps with the link 16 but i don't know why with the HMCS if i look at my wingman, I can't see the circle with the "2".
But i can actually see circles with the HMCS when i look to other flights.
Could this be something related to the Link 16 settings BEFORE we enter the cockpit?
4:14 - Learn something new every day! I thought DTC needed to be loaded before using presets?
Well the AUX is not loaded by the DTC. Usually we talk on AUX just on battery so there it must load it on mission load.
How do you move the camera like that to see past the lever near the o2 reg?
middle mouse button
@@YoYo-fp9dd thank you so much
where is the gps button on the avionics power panel? I checked the other blocks and they are all same. Any answer ?
The GPS switch is not there seems like the F-16 is based before the mod that retrofitted them with a new panel with the GPS switch.
@@AviationPlus I saw the switch in your old videos . I think BMS changed it with the updates right ?
Hello, great video, do you use some texture mod for the cockpit.
Thanks for watching. I do not have any mods.
Hi
I wanted to start bms I just have a problem.
I can't use a hotas because I have to move a lot during this year and can't carry them with myself
Is bms playable with Xbox controller like dcs?
Hi!
I don't know, but I don't see why not. However, I do not really see how you would really have a real pleasure in BMS with an Xbox controller (?)
Kind regards.
Thank you for answering
I know that I can't get the full experience but it's better than nothing, isn't it?
I just saw people complaining saying that it's not playable with
new update, that's why i'm asking this.
@@WATA_X It is up to you. (Personaly I could not)
Regards.
Yeah I guess I just have to give it a
shot
Thanks for answering tho
What do you use as your voice changer in jet?
I use post effects, but when in a flight that filter is from the game no post required.
Doing gods work, thank you
What do you mean by Dober to the right?
@@YoYo-fp9dd That directiomal 4 way switch that you use to manipulate the DED.
@@AviationPlus Thank you so much!
@@AviationPlus follow up question how do you enable nose wheel steering?
@@YoYo-fp9dd Nose wheel steering enable button on the upper right side of the stick.
Are you %100 sure about having consequences for not doing flcs bit ?
I have never done it and never ever had any issues...
Like I said chance. And it is only for ramp start not taxi.
IIRC , risks of in-flight issues are extremely low in case of skipping FLCS BIT test. So it is not really a showstopper. However, if you like to have a maximum chance of having no issues, performing all the BIT is recommended. ;-)
Enjoy!
Im guessing chances are youre having an issue are very close to 0% if not actually 0%
@@Syntax152IMHO I think it's best to play it safe or risk Murphy's Law
Sec Check ? Anti ice check ?
Doesn't have consequences. People are confused on what they need to do to not get in trouble, but yes those can be performed. I might make one by the book and mention the consequences if any.
@@AviationPluswell the problem is that if they fail , there would be no other option than to abort the mission. I fcould however make sure that if you don’t perform the check , then the fault can happen in game ;)
My understanding was that only happens with FLCS IBIT.
@@AviationPlus yes but we could include some faults for other systems if not checked ;)
