THE MICS OMG
There's something terribly wrong with the sound mix. The mic levels are wrong and the music isn't loud enough. It makes the actors look like they're incompetent, which they are not.
Are you always this critical, or are you just trying to show everyone how smart you are in theater?
Sound mix and mic levels don't matter. It's still impressive, and most folks on here love it.
They should have known this number would not work with hanging mic's and such a small stage. I wish they would stop always trying to do the big show stoppers (Macy's, Tony Awards)... They are SO amazing in the show but never show well out of context and with limited sets. They should have LMK do "All That Matters" or MM and Eli do "When Your Feet Don't Touch the Ground"... those songs have so much heart and would work perfectly well in this type of setting... this was a little painful to watch... especially when I loved it on Broadway so much.

This is OK but the Broadway production is vastly superior with the full cast, the whole production number not to mention the right sound mix, yikes! - I agree with one of the comment here about Aidan Gemme I've seen 4 different Peter's so far and Aidan was by far the best Peter. I'm Seeing again this week!

This was a good performance, but what happened to those awful mics! It almost sounded a capella, which does not fit this song!

His British accent is a little better than Dick Vandyke in Mary Poppins....not a lot better but a little better.

Oh yeah, that happens often with kids on shows. Sometimes they get too old for a role or they have to focus more on school etc.

the singings good but with the music (lack of) it sounds terrible and i prefer Aidan as Peter

You probably just need to see it live. It's such a good family show, this performance I will say was not the best though...the mics were terrible but they are such talented people

I feel embarrassed for the cast. Matthew was so miscasted in the roll. Fake Scottish scents while singing ... who's dumb idea was that? Plus, the music sucked!!!
