  • Today we will be traveling from Auckland, New Zealand to Santiago, Chile via Vancouver and Toronto.
There are direct flights from Auckland to Santiago but since I try to exclusively fly on Air Canada, I needed to travel through Vancouver and Toronto. I actually have two separate tickets from Calgary to Auckland return and Calgary to Santiago return but dropped the last leg from Vancouver to Calgary in order to make the connection in Toronto to Santiago. The timing of getting back to Calgary and then Toronto just wouldn't work based on schedule.
As I was leaving Auckland, there must've been what seemed like 1000 people in the security screening lineup and similar numbers if not more in the immigration line in Santiago. Watch to the end to see how I was able to bypass those people!
