I thought they were already married. Maybe they are like Bhumi and his wife Sarmila who did not do the whole ceremony so they performed it later. Also these were done at night which is different from other ceremonies. Dima looked near tears at first but I've seen other brides who looked scared (Laxmi for one). Many blessings and congratulations 🍹🎀🎈. Wife #1 looks very pleased and we know she has always been supportive of Dima. Little Sayahang wants her mother ❤.

If you watch their other videos than you’ll understand. BTW that’s her wedded husband. He married her because her baby daddy didn’t want her nor anything to do with the child, even her own flesh and blood didn’t want her. That’s why this kind family decide to take her in. Here's the back story for all the English speakers, sano dima got pregnant by one of the guys in her village, but that guy refused to marry sano dima. In Nepali community, having child outside of wedlock is considered to be very very taboo. Now in come dipa and thulo dima, they are infertile and when they came to know about sano dima's situation they decided to take on sano dima as wife to that man, as such they would even have a child in the house. So thats the story.
But i think the old couple could have just adopted the child and not have married sano dima. The age difference is extremely weird. And sano dima does not look happy the entire ceremony.

The couple were not infertile... they had a son who passed away in an accident...this was what I understood from one of their previous videos
If you go back and watch the video Kedar mentioned that the child was not from the old couple. He has said that the couple tried numerous treatments but to no avail, and that they cannot have children .
