  • THSPD function applies to all RadioLink transmitters such as
    RC6GS V3, RC6GS V2, RC6GS, RC4GS V3, RC4GS V2, RC4GS and so on.
    THSPD, called throttle speed or throttle servo delay. It’s a commonly used function in RadioLink transmitters such as all versions of RC6GS and RC4GS.
    As we all know, sudden trigger operation on a slippery road may cause the wheels to spin and the vehicle cannot accelerate smoothly. Setting the throttle speed can reduce wasteful battery consumption and make smooth throttle operation.
    The MODE of THSPD defaults to OFF. Speed1 or speed2 can be selected.
    For SPEED1, the delay setting works for the whole throttle travel. It defaults to 100, which means there is no delay. 0 means the slowest throttle speed(full delay)
    For SPEED2, it divides the whole throttle travel to 2 parts, which means you can set different speed for the front part and back part of the throttle travel. LOW means the front part. I set it to 0, the slowest throttle speed. High means the back part. I keep it 100, which means no delay. And TGP means the cut-off point of the travel, which defaults to 30. I set it to 50.
    Now, let’s check the servo display. Throttle goes very slow in the first half , but goes with no delay in the second half.

    The throttle speed function on the RC4 was key to getting my serpent 998e drag car dialed in! Very hard acceleration with out traction loss can be achieved with proper tuning of this function. 3 other local racers have now purchased a radio link after seeing my success with them. Keep up the good work!

      That sounds wonderful! I guess you are a brilliant racer. It will be wonderful if we can see how you use the function in video.

    But can you make so there is no delay when you release throttle and the return back to neutral. That delay on the throttle return is very hard to use when drag racing or speed running.

      Hi, sir. Are you using RC6GS V3 transmitter? Could you please download and install the latest firmware V690, the throttle delay function is already improved and updated in the latest firmware. If there is still any question about RC6GS V3, could you please take a video to us? Our email is: after_service@radiolink.com.cn

      Hello, sir. Do you mean R6FG V1.3 and R6FG V1.4? R6FG V1.3 and R6FG V1.4 are the same receiver, with the same function. Both of them can work with RC4GS transmitter. It has nothing to do with firmware update. We recommend you to test RSSI of your receivers. Here is the tutorial on how to test RSSI for your reference: www.radiolink.com/newsinfo/561239.html If there is still any problem, you can also send email to after_service@radiolink.com.cn

    Why is it only for Throttle channel? For example, I would like to speed down movement of servo horn between positions. Why not just provide consumer with ability to specify the same settings for any channel, not just for Steering and Throttle? To use or not to use - it is up to consumer.

    • @Radiolink_official
      @Radiolink_official  Před rokem +1

      Hi, sir. Thank you for your feedback. Many users use delay for throttle and steering. There is less need for delay of other channel now. But I can send the feedback to our enguineer and hope it can be achieved in the future. If any question when using RadioLink products please feel free to contact us. What does the Fwd-VTR funtion do?

    • @Radiolink_official
      @Radiolink_official  Před rokem +1

      Hello, sir. FWD-VTR is similar to FWD-EXP. For FWD-EXP, you set one rate for the whole travel. For FWD-VTR, you set one rate for the whole travel, but there is one demarcation point in the whole travel. Here is detailed manual of RC6GS V3, which includes detailed introduction for all the functions. You may have a check: www.radiolink.com/rc6gsv3_manual If there is any other question when using it, please feel free to contact us. Our email is:after_service@radiolink.com.cn

      Hi, sir. THPSD is for throttle delay. If you want to slow down the motor speed, you need to set EPA or D/R function. @Radiolink_official  Před rokem +1

      Hello, sir. For 4 channel transmitter, sorry you can not update it to 6 channel transmitter by updating the firmware, because there are not 6 switches. Are you using RC4GS V3? Actually, many functions of RC4GS V3 are the same with RC6GS V3, such as THSPD. If any question, you can also send email to after_service@radiolink.com.cn
