Great video of a seldom seen bit of Peacock. I did a cert dive in P3 back in the 80’s right after a few months of strong siphoning. I have never seen silt piled so precariously tall as in P3 that weekend. I’d like to say all cave dives are spectacular... but P3 when I dove it was nightmare material.
    Anyway, thanks for posting this!

glad to find this! made this same dive twice approximately 30 years ago. 185 feet + both times. quite a experience! used only 1 stage tank but had twiin 104"s which may have had more air! dont know about the modern day tanks. didnt use side mounts at that time and was kinda tight in one area. solid rock above and below . seemed weird as was around 120 feet down i think. didnt seem so as was almost wedged between top rock and ceiling rock..thanks for this video and lots of credit to camera man!

Thank you for your kind words David. Tank sizes haven't changed much, 104's are sill in use and for sidemount anything from 85s to 120s is common. In this video we dove LP95s and two 80cuft stage tanks. We took an extra stage so we could breathe Trimix in the deep section and avoid the narcosis. As far as I remember there are backmount restrictions on both the main line and the (very pretty) alternate passage. Not sure about a restriction at 120' but the area right before Hendley's castle opens up is rocky and not that large. I got stuck in backmount once and that made me switch.
