Im here straight from watch the Undercover Boss Cubs Episode! Im from Birmingham UK which is Twinned with Chicago! So Ive always felt that in America The Chicago Cubs are my team, even though I don't know much about the game! So I looked online to see more about the 108 year drought to see how the Cubs had managed since the episode under the new owners! So happy to find they won the World Series in 2016, even though Im now in 2023! I was sure they had won a World series as it was news in the UK too! But it's been nice to refresh my memory and know that they really did break the 108 year drought! My Football Club Aston Villa won the 1st Division / Premier League last in 1981, and the European Cup/Champions League in 1982! Aston Villa's greatest achievements, so I know what its like when your team wins the biggest Trophy you possibly can! Memories that last a lifetime! As far as I'm concerned Aston Villa is also now Twinned with Chicago Cubs! We Twinned Cities have to stick together and support each other teams! Go Cubs Go!👏👍🙏🏆❤️

I'm a Marlins fan living in the San Francisco Bay Area who experienced joy in 2003 and heartbreak with the Giants last October. I never thought I could handle watching the Cubs win it all. My Dad who grew up in Chicago going to Wrigley and watching Ernie Banks play waited 70 years for this. He's a Giants fan now, but even he broke down after the final out of Game 7. I know it's been almost a year, but I can't stop watching the celebrations. Some things are bigger than the game and this was one of them, so congratulations to all who hungered, thirsted, hoped, prayed, and waited, some their entire lives to see this! God bless you Steve Bartman!

Here is what I would say if I were the broadcaster on the final out of Game 7. "Here is the pitch....Semi-screamer grounder to Bryant, not a easy play as he guns it TO RIZZO - OUT AT FIRST AND THE CURSE OF 108 YEARS FOR THE CUBS IS NOW LIKE RED SOX'S BAMBINO - BOTH DEMOLISHED!!!! We can now finally say this we had waited for a very long time - CUBS - WORLD SERIES CHAMPS! KISS THE BILLY GOAT GOOD-BYE FOREVER!!...Similar to 1972, 1973, 1975...this 2016 series ran seven games, and this series likely tops all of those other 7-game World series, because it is the Cubs that made history! Wishful thinking. And the Cubs missed out on Kyle Schwarber's bat for games 3, 4, and 5. But thanks to that dumb rule, that gives the all star game's winner home field advantage in the World Series, the Cubs were able to play him at DH 4 times. His 10th inning at bat in game 7 was huge. This time, it was home field disadvantage. Thanks, AL allstar team!!

GO CUBS GO, Go CUBS GO, Hey Chicago waddy ya say the Cubs just won the World Series today and they deserved it. Even though I just got into baseball this year I feel like a lifelong Cubs fan already. The only thing that makes me sad is that David Ross is leaving and that the whole award ceremony and rally was completely engulfed by advertising like the Chevy mvp award. There was way to much advertising in game seven of the World Series and that the Cubs fans did not really express themselves the way they truly are. I mean Chicago is a great city with great people and a great baseball team and they deserve more.

"The Cubs Cheated" are the 3 words that are irritating to me. Cleveland played their hearts out, they put their hearts and soul in those games. I was at the rally and the parade and watched the cubs for 33 years. This was amazing. I am a huge Cubs fan, my whole life. Give credit where credit is due, Cleveland played amazing but the Cubs wanted it more. Period.

GPlays I have heard (mostly Cleveland fans) say that Cleveland was getting shitty calls from the ump (both teams were). They say it was rigged.
