My son did it a month ago. You get a sticker, IF there is a staff member there at the time.
Thanks for letting me now. Not as cool as a medal but at least it's something
What do you mean IF a staff member s there? A staff member has to be there otherwise the sword is unpullable. The attending staff member has device that remotely unlocks the sword. They usually unlock it for the most unlikely pullers and keep it locked for people like bulky men and such.
@@SakuraShirakawa pardon me can you please repeat that?
@@Cocoshark732 Why do they need to repeat it?
@@Cocoshark732 just read it a second time
There was actually a really buff guy who was so strong he actually managed to pull the sword completely out of the stone without the mechanical part working, breaking the whole thing and forcing Disney to replace the sword with a new one.
KING BOB!!!
@@Lo-Sir BAHAHAHAHA!!!!
He should have kept it...
@@JoeGator23 If I’m not mistaken he did.

Darth Vader cosplayer doing the Force is actually hilarious
Actually I'm pretty sure that was a promo commercial
Yeah😅😅😅😅
not a cosplayer fam, he serves Emperor Mouse ever since he chucked Darth Scrotomface down the deathstars elevator shaft
Anakin always destroys the Children.
it answers my question too, that is really is magic!
I miss all the little extras. This, the collectors button you got for getting max score on space ranger spin (the sticker is not the same), the elusive pin for being selected from the lights motors action, and best of all, Push.
I agree. It would be so much more fun if something cool happened.
You mean push the talking trash can?? They brought him back in Epcot they have them at this weird orange bird restaurant thing it’s rlly cool
I pulled it once as a kid. I got the medal and the certificate, and there was people that came out and did a mini show for me announcing me as the queen
sure you did
Why so hateful and negative?
Same girl! I still have my metal😂
@@Blobby192😂
@@Blobby192 he said used to not still also that’s when they where a kid
What is Vader doing🤣🤣🤣🤣I thought he was a ruler of the empire already🤣🤣🤣
That wasn't palpatin or whatever
@@darckto7247 Vader is the 2nd ruler
Expansion 😉
@@-Zesty Vader is a dog

For a while in the eighties/early nineties they gave you a certificate and let you ride a float in the daily parade. I got to try pulling the sword once, Merlin came out with a knight and a squire and they picked four kids, and the the last kid won.
I got it when I was a kid. They give you a special fast pass that you could use any time on any ride and bring your family with you.
I was one of the kids in the 80's with Merlin making a spectacle, who pull this sword up.
I don't recall ever getting the medal... Only a polaroid photo and certificate.... And a brief king suit for the photo op. I was like 6 or 7.
Vader just using the force is a flex
"Temporary ruler of realm"
oh damn, ok-
You pay extra for pulling the sword now. 😂
You kidding
Darth Vader is pretty sick in this video
Just bring in your own programmable garage door opener and lift the sword every time…
It happened once when I was 4. A full grown man was called up and couldn't do it and I was called up next. I was declare the hero of fantasy land in my princess belle costume and my parent got me ice cream after that.
I have the same story ! Minus the dress and ice cream lol
Cleanest loop I’ve ever seen
Darth Vader just flexing on us
No joke, Vader pulling the sword with the force is awesome.
I was hoping Link would come and pull the sword that seals the darkness 😆
You become King of Camelot, and then marry a woman named Guinevere but then your Best friend who you appointed as a knight falls in love with your wife and she loves him and you get sad and then you realize you have an illegitimate son that wants to kill you and become king. Theres way more
Secretly said Darth Vader the ruler of Disney
JoJo’s World has been trying to pull the sword in the stone forever but he can’t
You have to pretend to be retarded or disabled. There is a guy watching who will allow an unlikely person to pull it out. It isnt about strength at all.
My son pulled the sword from the stone once. Everyone made quite a fuss over him. All the cast members congratulated him throughout the day and called him "your majesty" because he was the king of the afternoon.
$2 worth of brass for the thousands it costs to get in and touch it.
It literally only cost me like $145 for a ticket and then I spent maybe like $50 more inside on food and merch. I spent less than $200.
@@goofygooferson7834 What about travel? Unless you live around the corner that's not cheap either. Gotta count every dime you spent on the trip too if it's a trip you wouldn't have taken otherwise.
@@daylen577 i didn't pay for gas but it wasn't more than $60
If someone defied physics and pulled the sword completely out, they probably ain't giving it back.
when i was a child (in the 90's) i pulled the sword and was given a medal and certificate which i still have in the loft stashed away. I was given free ice cream and was called "sire" by all all the cast members all day! oh they gave me a crown too but i had to return it at the end of the day xD
I miss that show they should bring it back 😢
In reality its just a sadistic guy with a remote who chooses which kids gets to cry and which kid gets to smile...
For people who dont know how he did it heres the trick:a worker at disenyland/disenyworld lockes the sword when a dad or a boy is pulling it,but when a toddler or a girl is using it they unlock it enabling the toddler/girl to pull it out
Cast members had a remote control at certain times of the day they let the sword will rise and a song played. That's was still fun.
You can make a special request to pull it out.
Disney: we stopped doing a lot of these side shows and special things to make our guests excited.
Everyone: so you're making it cheaper to attend your parks right....right?
I still have my medal!!! I was about 10 and "Merlin" picked me to pull the sword and it was one of the best days of my life.
Bro the transition back to the start was amazing
You get nothing you lose good day sir
-Disney
THAT TRANSITION IS SO SMOOTH
Darth Vader pulling the sword was THE BEST.
The little extras made it make sense to spend so much to visit these places. At this point it’s just a money pit for no reason. My 4 year old met a gorgeous black woman and though she was tiana. She’s met brides and will call them out as princesses. She thinks my best friend from Samoa is Moana (not gonna lie that makes us laugh every time and I’m not stopping it 🤣🤣). She’s finding magic in her everyday life without me going into debt for a crass excuse for what once was a magic place.
They should put Mjolnir in marvel university to have people try to lift.
It's a mechanism, one of the staff has a button that releases the sword so you can take it out
* he proceeds to break everything because he made force and pulled out the sword and they didn't chose him *
Only kids can pull it up. The employee that is near the sword has a button and press's it for all kids occasionally for adults.
Disney don't kid around with testing your pull-out game
I have this medal from when I was a kid. Truly such a lasting memory, it was so cool!
it is mostly big for the kids, because owner or someone from the park controls it buy a remote
"I accidentally pulled it from the stone and..."
There's gonna be a person that's gonna actually rip it out I bet
Fun fact : one of the “random guests” walking by is a character with the remote to unlock it when they want
The only way to pull the sword is to tell an employee that ima pull the sword
Man, I have to start calling anvils stone.
You're worthy when the staff member unlocks the sword lock.
Nothing, because whether you can pull it up or not is all controlled by an employee with a button that allows the sword to rise.
Well my parents are very disney fans we go like 4x a year and I was able to do it last year and I got a free lighting lane also known as a fast pass.
If you get it completely out you're immediately arrested for brandishing a lethal weapon with intent to commit murder.
The Vader one looks sick
Anybody chill until some super jacked bodybuilder guy just rips the sword from the system…
people have been able to break the locking mechanism and get the sword out and what they got in return was insane!
they just got kicked out 👁 👄 👁
It means that they released the lock on it.
So they would give you something for what they control XD
There is a mechanism in the stone where they choose when to release the sword 😂😂
So you're telling me someone on this planet was the last ever person to receive a certificate for pulling the sword does that make them official king?
The way Vade pulled the sword up with the force XD
People operating sword release must have as much fun as the apprentice sword puller.
Imma go senator armstrong mode for that
The Darth Vader clip woulf alway be my favorite
you passed those medals out as the mmc sweetie XD
Pulling sword from stone? Naw
Pulling Glock from backpack? 😄
Props to the guy that’s hidden and let’s certain people get it out of the stone
I've pulled it out and got the certificate a few years ago
I wish the were someone strong enough to be able to rip the sword right out, tearing through the stone and the other mechanics along with it. That would be awesome.
Here’s the thing Disney plays favourites on kids so they are the only ones that can pull out the sword
There is an a employee standing around with a button when they press the button, it releases, but not fully
I just got a medal and certificate on ebay, this video is amazing
Thanks pal
I can't wait till somebody has a flipper zero on them when they hit the button for the sword they could sell that radio frequency for a lot of cash
Disney stop doing it after someone actually pulled out the sword
Still training to deathlift it :)
Wait that guy with the medal is from the OneShotGolf Game
I once pulled, and then let go, and the person who operates it must of pressed the button right as I let go, and it came up by itself.
There is usually a member that keeps track on people but the member has a remote and they will unlock the thing so you can pull it out
Oh it'll come out of the stone one way or another. (pulls out thermite)
I pulled the sword out this past week and all I got was bragging rights....in a house full of boys, I'll take it! Lol
There is a mechanism where they lock the sword in place when an adult comes but when a kid comes they unlock it
I did it when I was a little kid! I got the medal and certificate signed by Merlin! I will never forget that
Bro used force.
Unless they let you, you can't even pull it, it has a mechanism that holds it in place, when a staff member decides it's time for someone to pull it they push a button that disengages the mechanism and releases the sword
I would only go to the park just for this. I’m a huge Sea World fan and Sea World camper my whole life .
That dark Vader one was acually badass!
It’s just a guy with a button watching it the whole time that person gets to decide who pulls it
I heard some guy with a remote chooses when it works
I would try to shear whatever is keeping it in and run away with it
The true EXCALIBUR
They used to?
That's a good gimick, they should continue it
looped so good I accidentally watched it 5467 times
fun fact: the sword is held by an electromagnet
Fun fact there's a button near by that you press to get it out
I’ve pulled it last year, it really gives you pride😂
Now they just spend on the bear necessities
15 years ago i got a paper that said I was prince for the day
U don’t even keep the sword 💀
Each of my kids have the medal and certificate. 1 year after daughter got called up by Merlin I got called up and failed then he called my son up.
I knew Darth Vader had it nailed! That's why I follow him as a Sith. LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE!!!!
I’m not following him and will NEVER join the dark side! Unless he has cookies, anime, pizza, and sushi!! XD
@@JenniferPoole.33272 He has ALL OF THAT AND MORE!!! Plus the Jedi have rules against procreation and physical intimacy. But here in the world of being a Sith you can have as many children as you want to make!!!
Did this in like 2003. Got a medal, and got to go to the front of any like the rest of the day. Also free lunch
Who remembers the guy that pulled the stone from the park
