David Aboagye Borders are imaginary lines and only applicable when you get to the border and you meet the officials. West Africa is more free with the border thing even the mamas move across borders to sell their fruits and vegetables at the market. The most strict places where you have to go through a process at the border is at SADC countries meaning the Southern regions from Botswana, South Africa, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique etc because the most Europeans are all over there.

Wode Maya thank you for these videos. I am Jamaican by birth and I’ve lived in the USA most of my life. While I consider myself more knowledgeable than most, how little I know of Africa is being exposed in you videos and Dr. Mumbi. This video of Togo is outstanding. Togo is beautiful with beautiful people. Your cohost - I could not get her name - along with being attractive, she was outstanding, please relay my complements. I will not tell you my view of Togo prior to your video as it was negatively distorted by western propaganda. .In Jamaica we eat a lot of soups and Saturdays are soap days. From watching this video and others you have done, I am now discovering Jamaicans love of soups go back to Africa as all your soups look like ours and I can taste each one you and your host put in your mouth. I would add please throw in your next soup some Jamaican dumplings, flour or cornmeal and you will thank me. I cannot thank you enough for your videos and especially this one.

Notice how Wode Maya encourages everyone to either create a CZcams channel or he promote their existing channel. This is a stellar example of an African who wants the African-story-by-Africans, as many Africans as he can reach. I'm so proud of Wode Maya.

    Hi Maya,
Nice to see you doing a street food segment on your channel. The way you chewed that goat meat really made your subscribers salivate. I would have done the same if you had been eating village chicken so you could not entice me. ( I do not eat red meat).
My tips for attracting more subscribers: 1. continue to do your segments on the "Millennials" and their aspirations about Africa in each country you visit. 2. start doing segments on how easy it is to do business in Africa in each country you visit. 3. continue to show the African infrastructure in each country you visit. 4. continue to do segments of the "African returnees" from the diaspora & their projects they are involved in to promote economic growth in Africa. 5 continue to do segments on culture, intermarriages, and lifestyles, etc. you will see how fast your surpass your target of 500,000. Regard, Navy Zambian resident in SA.

Wode Maya, I believe your statement about Fufu being Cassava and plantain in Ghana is largely inaccurate. The reason being that, people from the bono regions and the north mostly enjoy Yam fufu and not plantain at all. Ofcourse Akan speaking areas enjoy plantain but this crop doesnt grow everywhere, thankyou Ayam maya

We eat with the clean right hand because the food tastes better and you avoid diseases sharing forks and spoons such as hepatitis you can contract easily especially in restaurants where they don’t properly clean the utensils so I use to bring my own because people are doing too many things with the mouth these days too eating all sorts of 🍑 things... 😷
When you eat with your hands it is beneficial for health and for various body parts such as the mouth, throat, and intestine, and it promotes healthy digestion in the gut with the flora of the clean fingers.
