- Here is another Tom Waits song for you. One of my favourite things to sing. All the World Is Green was written by Tom Waits and Kathleen Brennan for the 2002 album 'Blood Money'. I'm playing it on my old Martin OM-28 acoustic, singing through a 1946 RCA '74b' Ribbon Microphone. Sometimes simple is best.

Okay Jordan, listen up. You're a star. This video is exceptional. What makes it so is the setting, the camera angle, lighting, microphone, the Martin and the way you play it, your outfit, your good looks, hairstyle, and your wonderful voice. Your other videos are good, but I tell you, this is the formula. Fabulous. From an old man who knows music.

Wow ❤ how does this not have millions of plays !? Brilliant😊 learning this song currently and came across this.. any tips on learning to sing while playing ? I've been playing guitar for over 10 years and want to start singing
Hey I really appreciate that! Tips for singing while playing? I would say first get really comfortable with the guitar part, so it’s second nature. Metronomes are good. Introduce singing after the guitar part is effortless. I like to practice singing songs in their entirety so you don’t get too hung up on any one part.
I have't touched my guitars in nearly 7 years, but after hearing your solo here tonight, I was compelled to bring them all out of the spare bedroom, take each one out of its case and burn them.
Hahaha! Heck. You mustn’t do that. Having said that, burning guitars do smell good…

@@gemmacasanova6804 I agree. Mugging at the camera in an inauthentic way is becoming old hat. I've done the covers bands, played countless corporate events, but always leave feeling violated somewhat. Its much nicer to play what I enjoy and find people in the universe who understand where I'm coming from.
